Amazing hostel with some of the friendliest housekeeping and front desk staff. They are always working so hard, but happy to chat with you :)
Exceptionally clean - all the time and the breakfast is pretty great!!
Rooms are comfortable and the hostel is well located. I kept extending because it was so good. Thanks to the amazing staff :)

This is my second and last time there, first time was on a private room, very expensive but was ok cos the accomodation that weekend were sold out in Banff, this time in a mix dorm of 8 people my bunk was just beside the door. So everytime someone opened it I could feel the -20ºC over me. There were a gap between the door and the wall (2cm) and you could feel the air entering in the room. The blanket is very thin, when I told the staff about the door, they told me they had in mind fixing it, so I recommended them to have extra blankets for customers, they told me they had no more blankets available. The matress was old, bad, and noisy. They better use the 50$ I spent in trying to sleep in fixing the door.
The common areas are small for all the guest that hosts, as is the parking. Overrated, unconfortable. I am really deceived.

This hostel had everything you needed! Clean rooms, lights by each bed, sink separate from toilet. Very clean. Lockers in room to lock up any belongings. Lots of information @ the front desk area. Free breakfast and fridge to store food. Great location a 5-10 min walk from downtown Banff!

The number one reason I like this hostel is the location. It's one straight walk away to downtown Banff Ave. You will find everything just by walking. Located along hotels that is two hundred dollar a day. My first time to use a hostel. But my first impression is good. A lil bit old cabin style building. Free breakfast. Cook or bring your own food. Wash and clean your own mess. I am not used to this kind of setting but I think its ok if you are in a budget or a group this will be fine. The room was clean and bedsheets are new. Because every time you checked out , you will bring your own beddings to the laundry basket upfront. The bunk bed was scary and shaky tho. And the mattress was for a child. Cheap mattress. No air condition. Oh well I think for 57$ Canadian a night with good convenient location. And the only purpose of your stay is to sleep and take a shower, I think this is so worth it. But if you are used to a fancy hotel, this is not for you. I know you will hate it. Most people checked in was younger ones but believe me. In my two nights stay,I've met 5 different countries visitors in the room. So if you are friendly and easy to get along this kind of setting is for you. Their staffs are cool and very very helpful.

The place was clean and I liked that each dormitory had their own shower and toilet. The top bunk was quite close to the ceiling so not that great for a person who is 6ft tall but otherwise, amenities were good and room clean. They had quiet time after 10 pm which was great as I got quite tired after a full day of hiking. Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful.
