I must admit I was worried about this hostel. It's known as Brisbane's party hostel so I was sure it would be very loud. I was allowed to check in a bit early and the guy at reception upgraded me from a 6 bed to a 4 bed which I thought was really nice of him. My room was on the 3rd floor so I didn't hear much of the party. The kitchen is quite small and understocked so that's in need of an upgrade. The small window thingies above the doors in the rooms were really unpractical as they let in light which hit me right in the face as I tried to sleep. Other than that it is a pretty decent hostel with very helpful staff.

I lived in both single room and 9 female dorm , the single room was a bit stuffy and noisy during the night.The overall facilitates were good , but have to wait for a long time to check in or other services, would stay here for next time in Brisbane

Myself and my partner were booked a room here through STA travel. On arrival they had no record of our booking but fortunately claimed they had one double room left. Yes the hotel may be cheap and in a very good location, however we have never stayed anywhere as bad. The bed post had chewing gum stuck to it. The room was hot and had no air con or fan. You could not have the bedroom window open as the music coming from the bar downstairs was too loud. It did not stop until 3:30am! Also the walls were so thin that you could hear the person next door snoring and the wooden panels above the door had holes in them which meant the sound of all the other guests in their rooms and down the corridor was horrendous!
The bathrooms were clean however the tap handles kept falling off whilst having a shower.
We do not recommend!

I stayed for three nights in a four bed room and all in all I was quite happy with my stay. The only thing I didn't like was the kitchen which is waaay too small. Everything else is basic, sometimes a bit run down, but clean. There's all you need if you plan to have some sightseeing days here, but I wouldn't recommend this place for a longer stay since there is not much space for cooking and relaxing.

My hotel room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The front desk staff. were truly excellent. They were friendly and extremely helpful, going out of their to be accommodating. I really appreciate them for making my stay a very pleasant one.
