Lovely boutique style hotel in the New Delhi suburbs.
Pros: great communication and support from the 24/7 staff from prior to booking and throughout our stay, spacious clean and modern room, great food both at breakfast and a la carte, really good value for money even the organised taxi hire for a day
Cons: remote location, no alcohol license/bar

I got the recommendation for this hotel by my office colleague and I booked it as he said so. It's a very good hotel. Located a bit far from the airport but that's fine. Rooms are neat. Bathroom is well designed. Food is cheap comparatively. Breakfast spread is good. The reception manager is nice. Overall a good package at a reasonable rate.

I've stayed at Basil the Residency before during my trips to India so it was a no-brainer to return to this well-run boutique hotel, which was near everything I wanted to visit.
The front desk & restaurant staff did so much to make my stay problem-free and very nice. From taking care of an extra bag while I traveled around Rajasthan, to quick check-ins, meals at strange times and help with tourist advice, the Basil staff did it all with a smile and great courtesy.
Even though the hotel was fully booked, I was given a late check out. Nothing was too difficult for the staff at this boutique hotel and I'd recommend the Basil without hesitation for its excellent service and really friendly staff.

On a trip to Delhi, I was hoping I had selected the right place. Basil had good reviews and I took the chance. I must say my stay at Basil was great. Excellent service, friendly staff and delicious food 24 x 7 makes it a top place to stay in Delhi for budget hotels.

The hotel has an excellent service and ambience..All the staff is very co-operative. Best to visit at all times. The kitchen is open for 24*7 and each type of food is very awesome. Wifi speed is also best.
