For a good price and good value on breakfast, try the Bastion Apartments. The rooms are not spacious but they are adequate. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast was surprisingly good. Parking was not that easy, and the location is not very scenic. But for the price it was a good value - and it was close enough to the old town that it made it a good location for meetings that I was having in various locations in the down town area.

I didn't stay here but just had a couple of meals in their restaurant. The food and prices are good but the place was strangely empty both nights. You can get nice, local food here and the people spoke English. I think I was over charged once, so check your receipts, but considering everything is very cheap, it didn't matter too much. Would recommend and go back!

Loved the free breakfast, individually prepared. The portion of food given was very generous and prepared there and then after we placed the order. The place we had breakfast is very well designed, cosy and charming. The front desk staff was very helpful and speaks good English. We loved our room, downstairs the hall and bathroom. upstairs the beds. Just like we were at home. To get to visit the historical centre and Old Town, we just take tram 5 and to get to railway station to go off to Wien by OBB ,just take a taxi costing 5 euro. No regrets choosing Bastion.

They have very good menu and friendly staff. The prices are average but quality is well. I like this restauration if I do not have many time, but I think that it is very good restaurant but not the best in Bratislava

We stayed in this small hotel (6 rooms) for 3 days. From Nov 21st to Nov 24th. The hotel is very sweet with beautifull decoration. The room was dublex with the bed at the upper floor. The bathroom was big and very clean. The big advantage of this hotel was the excellent breakfast. The negative was the place of the hotel ( 30 minutes from the historical center by walk about 5 minutes by tram or bus. The nearest station was 300 metres) and the fact that the housekeeper didn't visit our room for these 3 days...But in this price the hotel is very very good choice...
