Our 24 hour stay

We stayed there for 1 night. And my expectation from the picture was really high. So when we got there. I was really disappointed when finding one of the bathrooms really dirty, no trashcan, only one key so if you have a pet you can't leave her there since you'll have to take the key and the electricity only works with the key. So couldn't leave the room. Allot of cockroaches everywhere. The rooms are nicely decorated and the AC works really good, but i would recommend this place if your only staying 1-2 night max. The pool area is also really nice and clean.

I participated on Punta Cana's Trifest and stayed here for two nights. Apartment was very near from Punta Cana's complex; it was clean with a full equipped kitchen (needed to buy matches) and there's a Minimarket close buy. Didn't use the Internet service and the guy that received us (Leonardo) was a very humbled guy.
I recommend this place for a business or short trip in the area with a fair budget.

We stayed at Bavaro Green from March 3-10. This apartment building is located in a housing complex for residence. Very quiet and peaceful. There are two entrances to the complex. One when you are coming from downtown Punta Cana and one when you are coming from the airport. Each areas have security personnels who can sometimes be very rude. You must make sure to get a wristband to show that you are staying at the apartment to be able to pass through. We were there for 7 days and on our 4th day a security refused to let us pass because we didnt have a wristband. Eventually, they did let us pass because we refused to move from the gate. So we had to ask the hotel for band. You will definitely need a car because the apartment is a little out of the way from everything. A supermarket is in close proximity which sells a wide variety groceries and other products.
The apartments are very clean and spacious. There are kitchen amenities which can be very limited for persons who might want to cook different dishes during a meal. Our apartment had enough plates, utensils, glasses, and cups, but not a lot of pots, but we made it work. Not all the buildings have wifi so you have to make sure to request a room with WiFi or to be in the WiFi building. WiFi goes out sometimes but not for long. I had to switch rooms because no Wi-Fi was in the room. I also got the opportunity to compare the rooms in the building without WiFi and building with WiFi. The WiFi building rooms are nicer and have better kitchen amenities. I am not sure if those rooms are more expensive. My reservation was done on Expedia and included WiFi, but because of my request in floors could be the reason I was given a room without WiFi. The room change was easy and Alba made sure it was smooth. We had moderate WiFi connectivity when it works. There was one morning when there was no water in our room but it came back very quickly. There is also a pool on property.
I mentioned earlier that the apartments are very clean. The housekeepers clean everyday which is very likely for this type of operation. There were no irons or ironing board in the rooms but they can be available upon request. There is a lot of closet space for storing your clothes.
I had a special request which I made in advance by email and they did their very best to accommodate it.
The staff speak little English and try their best to communicate with you. We didnt have a problem because we speak spanish. I want to say special thanks to Alba and Raquel from the reception office for an overall great stay. They always try their best to accommodate our requests and they were always very pleasant. My housekeepers Flor and Samara, and Wesley the grounds person. Thank you all for a wonderful experience. This was my first time staying at an apartment versus a hotel and I did had a home away from home experience and would definitely stay there AGAIN in the future. If you are looking for an inexpensive stay, in a quiet neighbourhood, and you don't mind cooking on vacation, this is the place to stay. I would definitely recommend Bavaro Green to friends and family.

I arrived in punta Cana by plane from Canada and was promptly greeting by Sandoval who drove me to Bavaro green.
I'm in punta Cana for 6 months so I had a fair amount of luggage and he was very accommodating to bring it all up to my condo, the fee for airport pickup is $25 US which is normal and fair
This property is located in the pueblo Bavaro community.....Great condo, very quiet area, quite far from beach, restaurants and night life. I was unaware that the shuttle to the beach was free and was charged $25 US each way, so make sure the driver knows that you expect the free shuttle
The staff very accommodating and friendly but aren't fluent in English which didn't affect me at all.
Overall I had a pleasant stay and no complaints. If you're staying for a short time 4-7 days, it might not be convenient for you as taxis are expensive in DR
