We spent one night at the Bay Motel. It is an older property that has been completed renovated. Really nice. We really enjoyed it. The best part was the location. Next to the Beach Hotel, right downtown, across the street from the beach.

Awesome location, right across the road from the beach, right next door to some beautiful cafes, and around the corner from the main shopping precinct! Staff were really friendly! We would definitely stay here again.

Clean comfortable room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was absolutely amazing, directly across from the beach and right amongst the shops. Car parking was easy to access and all felt secure with gates locked at night. Great little gelato shop right next door with gelato donut sandwiches...yum!

We stayed here for our anniversary weekend and chose the Bay Motel for the convenience. Rooms were very clean and look like they had been recently renovated. Management were always available and friendly. Perfect location being opposite the main beach and walking distance to everything which is a bonus in Byron as otherwise its a bit hard to find parking. Onsite free parking at Motel also!

Just spent 2 nights at the Bay Motel on the Beach at Byron Bay.
It was overall..... a GREAT experience!
The hotel is centrally located to absolutely everything at Byron Bay. It is a VERY clean and well maintained property and definitely has the feel of a "personal touch".
Speaking of "personal touch" we would be remiss if we didn't mention the onsite managers, Sarah and her husband. They were INCREDIBLY accommodating and treated us more like personal friends than just an everyday motel guest.
They simply couldn't do enough to make our stay one which we WILL remember!
The Bay Motel on the Beach at Byron Bay was probably never meant to be a Five Star Super Hotel.......but Sarah and her husband certainly make you feel that experience!
