Generally I do my homework, reading multiple reviews before booking, but failed this time and suffered the consequences. We arrived at 5 PM, confirmation in hand, and were informed that our reservation had been cancelled (without notification), credit card declined, and that we couldn't rebook because all the rooms were filled. Wait, what? As I suspected and later confirmed with my credit card company, it was not declined. Double-checking the number or requesting an alternate card was not offered by the management. Here's the kicker: somehow the "declined" credit card was processed and charged by the hotel.
I'd review the room, except - oh, yeah - there were none available.

The images about this hotel are totally different with the actual one. It was a trapped!
The carpet is dirty, the bathroom is in a bad condition and everything look under-maintainance. unless you are looking for a quick stop with a great deal or else you may skip this.

Over priced for the condition/cleanliness of the room which was EXTREMELY POOR!!! The entire room and decor was in desperate need of an upgrade (looked nothing like the pictures on Hotels.com App) and the room was in desperate need of a DETAILED clean. It felt extremely unhygienic. Even the dark coloured pattern on the carpet didn't hide the filth and poor condition. Also, we were never informed upon booking that the pool would be completely EMPTY with no water and out of order, nor were we informed that there is a construction site next door, and a HUGE amount of noise would begin from 7.30am!!! So there is NO WAY you can sleep through that noise. To top it off, the hotel WRONGFULLY accused us of smoking in the room and charged US$100 to my credit card without a courtesy email/text/message/call. I'm a severe asthmatic and any type of smoke triggers my asthma attacks, I would never allow smoking in a hotel room!! After checking my bank statement and noticed the charge, I later contacted the hotel to dispute it and they NEVER responded to my email. Extremely poor customer service!! I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone and would NEVER stay here again!!!! AVOID, and stay elsewhere!! There are plenty of better hotels in the area for the same or even cheaper price.

Feels like a 3rd world motel. It is dirty, the place smells bad. The owner or manager is very rude. Everything is outdated. They do not spend to keep their place nice. Jacuzzi is disgusting. many issues with repairs needed.

We arrived late at night after driving from LAX. The hotel was undergoing refurbishment and had been for months, (even at the time of booking) but no mention of that on its website or anywhere. There were workmen walking around, equipment lying around. There were signs stating work would begin at 8am and continue throughout the day. The water nay be switched off as well as the electricity. Lucky this was just a quick stop of for us and we would be leaving after breakfast. The rooms were spacious but very dated. The breakfast was decent. Luckily we had not paid a lot for our stay. The work was to carry on for several more months.
