We have just returned from 1 week at Danae house, we had car hire included and this is essential as it is remote, if a quiet get away from it all holiday is what you're looking for then this is the place to be. We (husband, daughter and myself was lucky enough to get no 6 Danae house, beautiful views from our balcony that had table, chairs and a sunlounger! - spacious bathroom with good shower/cubicle, always hot water, the twin bedroom was spacious as was the living area, t v, a single bed for my daughter, table/chairs, lge rectangle coffee table and a smaller one, excellent kitchen area with work surfaces, full oven/grill/ceramic hob, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, plenty of crockery and 2 teapots! tea towels/tablecloths also provided.A tip for the owners, If a chest of drawers was provided in place of the large coffee table it would have been even better as there was nothing provided for a third persons clothing. We asked for a mirror for the living or bedroom area and we had one brought immediatley. We went b/b and ate at the Tochni tavern next door, the continental breakfasts was plentiful and also fried eggs cooked to order each morning, Apart from 1 night we ate here each evening and the food and portions was always very good and with complimentry dips/bread before and melon/grapes afterwards. The owner and staff were always pleasant and chatty, and nothing was a trouble for them, The private pool was lovely, we used it every day, kept clean as was the Tavern pool. Maybe a few new parasoles would be good though. The views from the Tavern are beautiful, we loved hearing the church bells/singing from the village just below us and the sunsets are lovely. We had days out at Larnaka, Limassol, Governors beach, Zygi, If you want peace and quiet then come here, we throughly enjoyed it, and fell in love with the 6 kittens and mummy! 4 of which was adopted by a German couple who took them to the vets, had them innoculated, got them a passport and are now living in Germany!

Great apartments are sited at the top of the site, in a private courtyard with its own small swimming pool. The owners are very friendly. The village is quite and near the big cities of Cyprus. Good for activities like cycling, hiking, swimming in the surrounding area. Great meal prepared by owners. Just ask what you want :)

I stayed here in 2010, and again in 2011, however I was only able to go back as far as Sept 2014 when writing this review. Danae Villas is absolutely beautiful! Nice, large villas that are kept clean and staff that is there to help you with anything you require from booking a car, to finding the best authentic Greek food in the village. I would suggest to anyone visiting to bring a good pair of shoes for walking as it is located on a steep hillside and there are very narrow roadways to get anywhere. I would not suggest this place to anyone with mobility problems. You will definitely need to rent a car as well to get anywhere as the villa is in a small town of Tochni and it's a short drive or a long walk to get anywehre. The food at Nostos just down the road is the best I have ever had in my life! It's a MUST TRY!! I went in October and then again in February and both times the weather was beautiful. I can't recall having any rain. It got a little cool in the evenings but wore shorts and a t-shirt during the day during these months.

Great house in a great locations. The owners are very friendly, the village is very quite and near the big cities of Cyprus. Good for activities like cycling, hiking, swimming in the surrounding area.

Danae is part of the Cyprus villages site st Tochni tavern ( see also Tochni tavern, Cyprus villages, Neapolitan house). Wifey and I moved to Danae after she had struggled with severe asthma after the hill climb from Mespilo. Angela and her team were SUPERB in accommodating our move to Danae. These apartments are sited at the top of the site, in a private walled courtyard with its own small infinity swimming pool. Our apartment had a lovely balcony overlooking the village with a slightly better equip level than mespilo. These seem to have been either recently refurbished or better maintained than mespilo but still has the same issues with linen, ie threadbare towels and too small sheets.we enjoyed our stay at Danae but had to move to Kalavasos for our last night which we didn't mind as the Cyprus villages team had been so accommodating in moving us in the first place. Also, a fee nights before we moved, a large group of people moved into some of the other Danae rooms and "took over" do we got a peaceful last night !! Again a big thanks to Angela and her team especially Cosmi, from Romania. A great guy !#
