This little hotel is on the edge of a hunting and might cause you to question your choice in hotel. But, as soon as you walk in you’re greeted by really friendly bi-lingual staff and they can provide lots of info of tours and even provide some themselves.
Although we didn’t get to they also run free dumpling making classes on Fridays which is worth the time!
It is really well located with a stone throw away from super markets and about 10 minutes or less away from the extensive metro they have in Beijing.
The room is a little basic but for he cost of the room it is a bit standard. Besides if you really want to explore all you need is a bed and friendly staff!

The location is great. 5-6 minutes walk from two subway stations. It is really near the Tiananmen square, Forbidden city and all other attractions in the area. You are also near the Wangfujing station, where you can find some of the best places to eat and feel the city spirit.
The room itself is not that impressive. It has all the basic - beds, small table and bathroom. If you are mainly going to stay in the room, you won't be very happy, but if you are planning on experiencing Beijing and mainly sleep there - it will be just enough.
The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful with a good command of English - which is not so easy to find in China.
There are some city tours offered by the hotel, but we did not used any of them. Having in mind the prices, I believe they were a bit expensive (see photos).
Overall we had positive experience.

This isn't a 5 star resort found in Bali. It is an aging hotel in a sensational part of a burgeoning economic powerhouse - a major capital city. As such, it has been brilliant for my needs. A safe place to crash at night. I've loved my stay here. The staff have been respectful and welcoming. It has character, charm, quirks and a sense of home.
The highlight has been the little florist at the front, opposite the cafe. Lovely to watch bouquets being made on the odd occassion. The cafe is cute and, while I'm not a sandwich eater, I found the sandwiches with tuna to be ample.
I stayed in the basement everyone seems to despise. I loved it. It is quiet, cosy and the odd rattle of the subway felt comforting.
I'd surely stay here again.

But this is about it concerning this little hotel. If these are the only important issues for you, then you are fine there. Otherwise: very small rooms with no wardrobe just a couple of hangers, bathroom with older standards and hardly any space for your stuff, worn out carpets in the hallway, altogether questionable state of hygienic standards. And for all this the price was also too much, even though for Beijing quite good. Sorry, we will not be back.

The frontdesk staff is very helpful. Since we arrived around 1.20am we need a transfer to hotel. We just email them and they did the rest. The room was adequately sufficient to get a nice rest, but what I dislike is the pillow is too small and only one per person. Others is OK as it goes with the price. The location is nearby Dongsi Station like 3 minutes walking away. At Dongsi Station exit C, if you look across the street you can have a Halal Restaurant. The fornt desk is super helpful with our requests with fluent English. We ask for separate billing and even ask them to hail cab to go to Beijing South Train Station. Super helpful. I love the cafe, super chic!
