Had a ground floor unit; very cosy. Stains on the carpet were a little disconcerting but all else was clean and useable. Bed was comfortable. Room could do with an armchair as no seating other than the bed.
Best thing about this place was the short stroll to the shops and Saturday morning local organic farmers' market - a must visit on a Saturday morning! As is the Chinese massage place opposite the farmers' market - fabulous!
The queues each day outside the cafe adjoining the hotel were long so obviously a good place for breakfast.
Reception staff were a little on the curt side and had a problem listening to what we were saying when sorting out our multiple room bookings.
Cleaning staff were very obliging with extra coffee etc when asked.
Would we stay here again? Yes due to closeness to shops and farmers' market!

The Bella Capri Inn is simply wonderful. The staff was so welcoming and nice. The town itself is charming. Breakfast was included at The Old Town Cafe directly next door. Caden, our server was very friendly and asked everyone's names and remembered them.
Room was nice and the grounds were quiet.
Totally recommend this place and the city for a little out of town getaway.

Pros: Front desk service was friendly and helpful. Breakfast at the adjoining cafe (provided) was excellent. The bed was comfortable. The room was a bit rough around the edges, but clean. Lots of restaurants within walking distance (we had sushi across the street).
Cons: We ended up in the handicapped accessible room, which shouldn't have made a difference, but it's a strange room to be in if you're not handicapped, and there was no shelf in the shower to put the soap. The carpet was being cleaned in the room above us, so there weren't people stomping around over our heads...until the next morning, when they began replacing furniture at 8:00 am. So much for sleeping in. The rooms surround the courtyard, where everyone parks. So much for an open window.
It wasn't awful, but it wasn't great.

We had requested a top floor room but only the first floor handicapped room was available. This room had a "wood" floor that made our feet feel dirty. I wiped a 2' x 3' section of floor, it cloth was filthy. I asked for the floor to be washed when our room was cleaned. When we returned the floor felt a bit better. I wiped it again and it was still dirty. Also, housekeeping had forgotten to replace the bath mat, give us 2 bath towels, provide new drinking cups, and empty & replace the ice bucket. The front desk said they would bring us these items. Looking further we found hair from other guests on the bathroom tile floor. It seems their housekeeping staff needs more training.
The third night was awful. The guests above us were very loud. It sounded as though they were moving furniture. We asked the front desk to these guests to ask them to be quiet since it was 10:45. By 11:30 it was still noisy.
From the first day we had asked to speak to the manager but were told the manager was not there. We asked for the manager to contact us. We received no response. Obviously the front desk help has not been trained to handle these types of situations.

I've always wanted to stay at this hotel the four years my son attended CIU but usually stayed at Hampton Inn or Best Western that serves breakfast and is reasonable ($99/night). I thought it would be nice to stay here with family for my sons graduation May 2017. I got a lower price ($20) on Booking but even then it is over priced ($139). Rooms are extremely small. You get the feel that the rooms were once small offices that are converted into hotel rooms; never seen such a small bathroom and absolutely no closet or drawers at all. There were broken drawers on night stand and extremely old a/c with broken parts. There is no breakfast and check out is 11:00 which I requested 12:00 since we had to leave early to ensure parking at CUI but we where told we could not. So at 7:30 AM we very quickly threw our stuff in the car forgetting my husband's prescription meds in the hurry which he called to get back but they threw it away without notifying us. Too overpriced and not a pleasant stay.
