We stayed for 3 days and didn't want to leave. The rooms were spacious, clean with good a/c. The wifi was good in the rooms and the pool.
Service was very attentive at the pool & restaurant. They brought round towels & appetiser drinks.
The breakfast was a la carte with fruits, toast & eggs or pancakes etc. All were very good.
The lunch & dinner menus were extensive with a mix of Sri Lankan or american/european food. All were excellent and the curries were the best I've ever had.
We had a small free spa treatment which was nice.
The pool and gardens are very well kept and the infinity pool is beautiful. Only slight negative was that there was nowhere to lie on the beach. You could go in the water if you wanted.

Good as the other hotels were this one took the biscuit. Absolutely nothing that you could find to complain about. The hotel was exactly as described and I don't think I have ever stayed in a hotel with such friendly, and attentive staff. Amenities superb, food excellent.
One small negative for the hotel to think about. The Spa was excellent but compared to similar ones we have used was a wee bit pricey.
What's not to like. If I had the money I would be back tomorrow.

It was the fifth hotel we visited on Sri Lanka and it turned out to be the best of all. Great location of the hotel -The hotel is located on a towering cliff-from the pool and the villa has a delightful view of the ocean. Sufficiently comfortable and large rooms.But the most distinctive feature of this hotel is the professional and friendly staff - which creates a truly beautiful friendly atmosphere. Special thanks to Chef, barmens and restaurant staff. Thanks to them, we had the impression that we visited not the hotel but our best friends

Saman Villas is an amazing hotel, great rooms, great design, wonderful location, excellent staff and customer service & experience. Moreover, the food was really good as well. Highly recommended! last but not least a wonderful outdoor bathroom which is an experience that cant be expressed with words :)

amazing place, amazing people and delicious food, their English breakfast was top of the world... bit pricey but you get what you paid.
not to forget their welcome drink, best drink of the world. i don't know what magic their using but i drunk 8 glasses in single day.
