This is a wonderful guest house. We were warmly welcomed by Tony. Our room had its own entrance from the car park, and was easy to access, with spacious wet room. It suited us very well, though we are not actually disabled, but it made things easier for us, though be aware that it does mean a couple of seconds outside to reach the main house. Good parking, though you need to take care as the entrance is narrow, but there is parking easily available on the road too.
The bed was extremely comfortable. Superb breakfast with lots of choice, well cooked, in fact probably the best scrambled egg I have had anywhere. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. They advised us on timings and parking for the steam train from Pickering- a lovely trip, and we arrived in Whitby to warm sunshine. Anne was so obliging when my husband became unwell and helped to prevent a potential crisis. There is a lovely local pub close by where we felt very welcome, with good choice of food. The village is a great location for exploring the area.

We stayed here for two nights recently and can say this is a wonderful BandB, excellent and friendly hosts very informative if you had any queries, lovely and plentiful breakfast that sets you up for the day, close to Whitby and goathsland where TV series heartbeat was filmed, would recommend this place if in the area, lovely pub just two minutes walk from guesthouse for evening meal, five minutes from pickering

We were a bit dubious staying so far out of Pickering for the war weekend but it turned out to be the best decision we have made. There is a bus stop 30 yards away right outside a lovely pub that does great meals. There is safe off road parking with lovely gardens and the hosts Tony and Anne are nice and friendly and obviously take pride in their B&B. Our room was bright and airy with a king size bed with a great mattress and a superb clean en-suite with a walk-in shower. Breakfast was 'SO' good with a nice choice particularly if you want a change from the full English. We honestly cannot fault it and had no hesitation booking for next year, thanks Tony & Anne for a fantastic stay, see you next year!!!!

Excellent B&B, with friendly hosts. The room was great - clean and tidy, large comfy bed, with a superb en-suite (fantastic shower!). Wonderful breakfast in the morning too!
There is also a small car park available round the back, so you dont need to park on the street.
