The room was large and there were a lot of outlets for our devices which was handy. The toilet and wet room/bathroom were split so it was good for all 4 of us adults staying in one room. Good shops etc around and close to the shinkansen station. Only issue is it looks like the onsen was unisex and not split for males or females only. Also the room beds were all different heights.. seemed a bit mismatched.

The room is very spacious compared to many other city hotels in Japan. The room also looks modern & clean while the rest of hotel like lobby, hallways looks quite old. They have a multi-storey carpark building connecting to the hotel at 2/F. They offered free parking for hotel guests.
The hotel is close (~8mins walk) to the train station where you may find some restaurants. The breakfast is quite pricy (we only had 2 audlts for free and need to pay for the 2 kids) and it is just so so.
One down side of the hotel is that we always need to wait for a long time for the elevators and it is always very full and stopped ~4 times (we stayted at the top floor) - very busy elevators.

The room was delightful after experiencing many cramped Japanese hotels.
Down side was the bathroom. Dangerous step down out of the bathroom.
Enjoyed the Onsen and Pizza restaurant.
Hotel lacks signage obvious to those walking from the train station.
We enjoyed the views, especially watching the trains.

The hotel is able to accommodate 4 in a room which is a plus if you have 4 people travelling. Being near to the train station is helpful and it is not far from the places of interest either. The staff at the reception was very helpful. The hotel has a very useful map in English that you can obtain - this is probably for Beppu but you can get one from the reception if you need and ask for recommendation.
Since we are in Beppu, the hotel has hotspring pools for its guests and many people were there. At the time we went, it was not crowded so that was fine.

Locate is easy to the hotel nearby Beppu Station.Hotel room are larger than standard rooms in Japan generally. Appreciated the lodging open shower. Room is consider huge for 3 triple room.Lobby was big and there are a couple of restaurants on the ground floor. The onsen is large and has an outdoor section.People are talking so loud in the bath and kids are running around. You can not relax in that bath for sure. But besides that, it is excellent hotel with great price. Staffs are extremely helpful.
