Excellent service provided throughout. All staff very friendly and approachable. Room was large and very clean as was the bathroom. Food in the bar and restaurant was good, advice given by staff.
We would stay again.

Been here 2 times with my dog. Very dog friendly staff who went out of there way to make sure my dog had a treat and some water. Our meals were very good also. Recommend highly for dogs owners 👍👍👍👍

Went for lunch as we have not been in the hotel for years new owners took over earlier this year.
A bit disappointing service to start with, the room we were in at the time only had one other couple they had their drink order taken and menu's given to them. A young waitress came back with their drinks took their food order and left the room. Never thought to look our way and hand us the menus or ask us for a drink order.
My husband went to ask at reception should he go to bar was advised that she was just coming. Which she duly did gave us menus and took drinks order.
Small limited choice both took steak and ale pie which was fine thought for a pub lunch it could have been slightly cheaper at £13.95 thought it slightly overpriced.
Place did fill up and could see hotel was busy with people staying over and going off to a wedding.
Maybe a little better training for staff, to be more aware of comings and goings of tables and to ask if customers were enjoying there food.

Town central location is good, and staff are lovely and helpful, but the hotel really lets itself down with very low quality hard beds. Terrible nights sleep, and the hotel is overpriced at £90 a night.

The Burnett Arms has an ideal location right in the town centre, with guest parking at the front and a larger car park to the rear.The bedrooms are comfortable - ours had interconnecting rooms which suited us - also free wifi. The hotel has several eating and drinking areas to suit everyone's tastes and budget..
