i've been staying at this hotel every year and always have a great stay in their whirlpool suite; the room is cozy and warm with the fireplace and lighted paintings. The hotel restaurant, Bistro Stephan serves excellent food! great servers also. Will definitely keep going each year for a nice get-away.

We stayed for one night while in Kingston for a concert. The hotel room was large, clean and very comfortable. Everything worked. The bed was great. But I loved the he restaurant called Tom’s Place. It is a hidden gem. When you walk in you think you have entered a hunter’s lodge from the 70’s! The food was great, the service was great and the price was great! The hotel is not downtown but is a 10 dollar taxi ride away

as a Hilton Diamond, its rare that i stay at BW but if others are as good as this, they will certainly be considered in the future. let's start with Maitlynn(Hope her name is spelled right.) When creating a reservation, she went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we had everything we wanted with our reservation. She was a delight to work with when we checked in too. We had border issues that forced us to cancel with less than 24 hours for our first night. BW was great about that and agreed not to charge us for the first night. The AC/heating unit was having issues the first night. They got it going on the second night and replaced it on the third day. We were fortunate to have Christian as our bartender and waiter on two successive evenings. he is a character and someone who can spin a story. Finally, there is the room itself. Hey, its a best western right? well there is double headed shower, a leather couch, a mock fireplace in hte corner, nice paintings on the wall and a big old comfortable bed. if there was any criticism it is that the walls or ceilings are a little thin and i could hear a bit of our neighbor's life but given that that was the worst part of the experience, i fully endorse this hotel.

On our way to Ottawa for Rememberence Day we stayed the night at the Fireside Inn. We have stayed here several times in the past. We have always enjoyed our stays immensely. The staff are always great especially Natalia who we see in the morning at breakfast. She is a kind and caring person. She always recognizes us even though we only see her a couple of times a year. We enjoyed a snack of chicken wings in Toms Place in the evening they were excellent. Our server was very nice and I wish we had gotten her name. The rooms may be a bit dated decoration wise but they are well layed out and always super clean. The beds and linens were very good qualify. As the next day was Rememberence Day I was pleased to see a Rememberence message playing on the info screens. The breakfast served at this Best Western is head and shoulders above that served at other locations. The quality and selection are great. We always look forward to our next visit. Kudos to the owners and all the staff.
