The hotel is really old and not renovated since a long time. It is a previous Best Western hotel.
Rooms are rather small and not really clean.
You can get way better hotels for that price. We booked without breakfast so I cannot say anything about that.
In any case - I do NOT recommend to stay there.

The goal of this hotel is in front to the beach (is just for view, not for swimming of walk because is a port so there is no sand), so you can walk along the promenade, and the second is just to 2 blocks from the old campeche's town door, bad points? I found mosquitos and they bited me :(, the room price doesn't include the breakesfat (is not expensive just 5,50 for a delicious buffet), very nice two pools one for kids, gym, sauna,I give them 3 stars for mosquitos but if you are not allergic as me, I would think 4 stars

This is the second time we visit this hotel, this time was bad. The room was rather small but ok. The problem were the linens. Towels are horrible, very old and with holes. They were not white but gray.
We decided to go to the pool which looks nice from the outside, but the water is filthy. My son dropped his gogles and we were not able to find them at the bottom of the pool. You can't even see your feet inside the water. Beer is expensive for the place, service was ok.
Breakfast was included so we went to the buffet and I was not delighted with it, it was average.
I don't think I will return to this hotel, being part of Fiesta Americana it should have better quality.

I stayed two nights. I was upgraded to the Platino floor, the 4th. The room was gorgeous, usual Fiesta Inn huge super king bed, white linens and lots of big fluffy pillows. Spacious room, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, water, flat screen T.V with some English channels. Lovely bathroom. balcony overlooking g pool and sea.
Nice dining room, good choice of food, nice coffee (table service) lovely garden and pool, nice comfy loungers. One negative here is the music from the bar was way too loud. Not everyone wants to party! I asked them to turn it down and they did , slightly! I had earphones so I didn't mind so much, I think it is just how Mexican people like it as loud music is everywhere, when in Rome...
Great location to walk to the old city walls, five mins. I adore Campeche, I am so in love! If I went back I would stay at the Gamma over and over.

As stated by other reviewers, the location is excellent and the staff is very nice and efficient. On the down side, the rooms are in a dire need for an upgrade, the furniture is very deteriorated and the ceiling is so cheap you could hear toilets flushing all the time.
Considering the location on the Malecón, the place is reasonable quit at night, excepto for the plumbing and the mattress is very good.
