We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed a very good stay, our room was spacious, clean, comfortable and very quiet. The breakfasts included in our deal were excellent with plenty of hot and cold choices. We had dinner on one night, which although very good, we thought it was a expensive,(especially the wine), All of the staff we came into contact with were friendly and helpful. The only thing we would have preferred would be better lighting in the bedroom, the décor is lovely, but the dark wallpaper and curtains means brighter lighting is required at night, as reading was quite difficult. However, should we be visiting this area again we will definitely stay here again.

We celebrated our wedding here in October, it was fabulous the staff were amazing, the rooms were clean, well equipped for every need. I would highly recommend for any occasion, very impressed😊.i would like to thank everyone involved for all your hard work making our day special.

We had our wedding here a few days ago - absolutely faultless from beginning to end. We, like many others on here cannot praise Mel the Wedding Manager enough. She listened to us, paid attention to detail and made sure that everything was perfect for us. She truly is an invaluable asset to the Hotel! All staff that we met were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and we were treated like VIP guests. We felt like the staff genuinely cared about our big day and were interested in us. Room 408 is beautiful and the massage at the in house salon on the morning of the wedding was amazing! Also worth a mention was the Sunday lunch - perfect! And the waiting staff were friendly and chatty. We would also like to mention the bar man Ben who was very helpful, polite and a credit to the team. We have nothing but praise for the whole experience and want to say thank you again - especially to Mel!

Nipped in for a beer as we look be locally, staff were nice, beer was good but the bar was a little on the tiered side. We paid by card and had to spend min £10, the waitress let us double order and get a second round later on.Can’t comment on the rooms or food.

Would not recommend this hotel to anyone very disappointed. Paid extra for a executive room and there was nothing executive about it. Bed and pillows hard, bulbs out, lampshades broken, paint work was scruffy, pictures was randomly put up, no complimentary shampoo shower gel ect, toilet roll like paper, flimsy plastic cups in bathroom, only 1 of everything such as water, hot chocolate ect, soap dispensers really high so when in bath you had to stand up every two minutes to get soap. And when we came to check in they had already taken the payment without authorition. Extremely disappointed.
