If you like Train Horns, car traffic, ambulance sirens, and cold showers, this is the place for you!
Clean, office staff is great BUT....
ear plugs are provided.....
just not worth that money even at regular prices ...

We just got home from an 11 day stay here the whole staff is the very best and most helpful, we will always stay here when in the area again. The hotel is almost done with a complete renovation and it is like brand new. Safe area and within walking distance to anything you might need. Back to the staff they are like a 5 star hotel trained staff could not have been better

Our king room was very nice. It was large with plenty of room around the bed. There was a microwave and refrigerator. The sink/vanity was separate from the toilet and bath/shower. There was also a larger closet that included an iron and ironing board. The hotel is located on a very busy street / highway that has train tracks on the other side. It can be a bit noisy, but there were earplugs on the nightstand which was a very nice addition. (It was loud for us, but found out in the morning that the window was open! Be sure your window is closed!) The breakfast was very good - scrambled eggs and sausage, waffles, and the usual fair. There was a very nice attentive woman working in the breakfast room. She kept things fresh and full, and checked to see if we needed anything else. She was great! There is a pool - not large, but large enough to cool off on a hot day. The hotel is not easy to access if you are going west on Grand Avenue since you are not legally able to do a u-turn at the light.

Had a fine stay and was pleased with my accommodations. The issues began when I had to leave a day earlier than planned due to a work obligation. I spoke with Jamie at the front desk and was assured that a refund would not be an issue. Instead of refunding me the third night of my stay, I was instead charged an additional night. Numerous phone calls later and we are still unable to settle this issue. Looks like I will be having to wait until these charges post to my account and then will need to dispute them with my bank. The most frustrating part of this process has been not being able to get a straight answer from anyone involved. Nobody can tell me why my card was charged instead of refunded. Would be nice if someone either knew what was going on, or took ownership for their mistake.

I should have walked out of the front office when I saw chunks of wall missing but, alas, I continued with registering. We chose this hotel because other family members were also goung to stay here and the price was perfect.
We brought our luggage up to our room and entered. The bad smell was the first thing that hit you. Looking down, I see that the carpet was not just dirty, it was disgusting. The toilet was continually running. I would have rather slept in the rental car then spend one more minute in that room.
We went back to the front office and told them we're out. They offered us a suite. I just wanted to escape.
Those family members? They stayed there. That night, the monsoon rains collapsed the ceiling in their room and they were moved to the suite.
This property is beyond "fixable". It needs to be razed and re-built.
