My family planned me a surprise birthday party and it was one of the best ever. The Executive Suite w/ Jacuzzi tub was all it took to make my heart smile!! Thanks to the Best Western Coon Rapids location!!

It wasn't clean. The halls, elevator, laundry and carpet were never mopped or vacuumed while we were there. We told the front desk, maintenance man and housekeeping, but no one did anything to fix the complaint.

Front desk service was very welcoming and friendly. Room very clean, bed was very comfortable. Few things in the room that were bothersome was the window in the living room area had lady bugs all over it. I've never been in a hotel room that has had this issue before. Thinking maybe they need to reapply some insecticide. The Jacuzzi tub did not work properly and the coffee maker also was not working, but they had fresh coffee with good creamer in the lobby.
Breakfast was less than satisfactory. Seemed they were very short staffed as the front desk lady had to toggle between getting the hot food from the kitchen and trying to answer phone calls from the desk. When we got there at 830 there were a few sausages, no eggs and no hashbrowns. When more food was brought out, it was immediately taken and then the empty containers of food just sat there as more guests came for breakfast.
Overall stay was ok. I was comfortable in my room, bathroom was large and nice, and the hotel was quiet. Just a few things that could use some improvement. Price of the room was affordable. Would possibly consider staying again.

Spent one night here. We got a suite and was very happy with the room. It was very spacious and clean. The jacuzzi tub worked flawlessly and the HVAC worked great. There was a great selection of TV channels also. The WiFi worked great, however it constantly kept disconnecting from all of our devices (2 phones and a laptop). The breakfast in the mornings wasn't the best with most selections gone by the time we got down at 9am - so that was a bit disappointing. All in all, the hotel room was very good and in a popular area with plenty of eating options. I would stay here again!

The rooms were clean & everything worked. All the staff were very efficient, with Todd being the best we encountered. The breakfast isn't the best of the hotels I've encountered, but it was OK. The rooms were quiet & the HVAC worked well.
