This Best Western Plus is a good value and convenient hotel to Santa Ana, Orange, Irvine, Anaheim areas. Nice courtyard, OK breakfast, plenty of parking and close to a running/walking trail along the canal. The rooms are large and comfortable with small kitchen area. Have stayed here 4 or 5 times and get what I expect. Have only had one minor issue with the front desk staff.

The building itself is odd, as it looks as if it's in an old office building. All of the rooms are built into the interior of the building, so the windows look into a hallway, not the outdoors. It's extremely odd, there's no opportunity for fresh air, and made me feel claustrophobic. The rooms smell stale, and like low quality room cleaner. Mildew on the bathtub, scuffing and gauges in the doors...I get that it was a bargain, but I've learned a lesson to never sacrifice sleeping accommodations to save a few bucks. Not worth it at this location, at all! I'm usually very satisfied with Best Western, and this was my first really, truly awful experience. I will never be back.
I will say, that Michael at the front desk was very accommodating, however. He was the only redeeming part of the whole stay.

Room smelled like wet dog, TV didn’t work, bed was uncomfortable, shower had hair in it. The jacuzzi made my skin break out. The staff tried to over charge us on the room rate. The breakfast was very low quality, especially the powdered eggs!

The Meridian was a comfortable hotel, with good staff. Its a little worn, but very clean. The breakfast was wonderful, with many choices. The pool and spa area were clean and nicely decorated. The hotel is also close to Disney Land. I would stay there again.

very nice rooms with m/w, mini fridge, separate bedroom w/tv, tables and couch, very comfortable, I would recommend this Hotel to anyone, prices are very reasonable, pool and spa and center courtyard are very attractive
