Very large clean room

Stayed for one night. The hotel was nice, reception welcoming with cookies and clean, and our room was very large with sofa and all standard facilities. We looked out over the parking lot and road but had no issues with noise from outside. There was ample parking. The pool is in a separate building belonging to a health club which we didn't use. Breakfast had all the standard choices and was nice, and the staff were very friendly both at breakfast and reception.
Great property - hard to get to

The hotel is wonderful but you have to know that you get to it from a back street. Once you figure it out, it becomes very convenient to get around from. Easy access to restaurants, shopping, and sightseeing. The Bistro in their convention centre serves up great meals at reasonable prices. Wish it were open more that just Thursdays to Saturdays.

Was traveling through to see our daughter who lives in nearby Bellingham and chose this hotel for its close proximity to the things we were planning on doing. The town is surrounded by the most gorgeous mountains we have ever seen ! Lots of close by restaurants and stores for shopping. Rooms could use some updating but most important, they were very clean and the linens to! We would stay here again 😊

Personal and Capable Employees

We felt very welcomed. The reception employees show personal interest in their guests. They told us about the Happy Hour drinks and food and breakfast . Because of snowy weather they would have made-up the sofa bed for my sister if necessary. We were in Mt. Vernon to attend a concert and in the morning gave me the poster from the display case!
