An excellent weekend venue for a reunion with friends who we meet up with on an annual basis. This was our 30th reunion, but our first at this hotel which proved to be an excellent decision by this year's organiser.

As soon as you step through the entrance you feel immediately at home. It is light, bright and very relaxing. Food is always good and well prepared and the staff are very friendly efficient and helpful.

I usually bypass Best Western's for a Marriot or another name, however this particular hotel was charming, exceptionally clean, and offered fantastic service. It would easily cost $600 a night in New York City. I would stay here again and the pricey hotel we next stayed at in London didn't compare.

We were about to visit the area and decided to try this hotel as it was near to the place we were visiting. The hotel was an excellent find. From the point of checking in we were met with friendly and helpful staff. This true of all the staff we met on our three night stay. The bedrooms were more than satisfactory, comfortable beds and the restaurant - a mixture of traditional pub grub and a selection of dishes which were interesting,tasty and a delight - was worthy of the rosettes it had been awarded.The same was true of breakfast. Lovely bar and comfortable sitting areas. Would certainly contemplate another visit, so friendly, comfortable and easy going.

Third time we have stayed here and it certainly won’t be our last. Room was lovely. We ate at the restaurant twice and bith times the meals were excellent. Breakfast set us up for the day. Can’t fault any of the staff - all so friendly and helpful. We totally recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying there again.
