Long time guest!!

I have stayed here 5 or 6 times a year for the past 15 years and ALWAYS have a consistent stay . . . it's my "home away from home" as I travel here for work. Shelley (manager) is the best and goes over and beyond to make certain my stay is flawless and comfortable. Work-out room is clean, breakfast is good, beds are comfy and my room is spacious.

This is a great motel, checkin was seamless great customer service personnel @ the front desk. The room was clean and neat when I1st walked in meaning they service well.
Gladiz cooked fresh scrambled eggs n sausage at the complimentary breakfast: thanks

The front desk staff was very welcoming. We had an over-sized room with an extra large bath. We appreciated the microwave and refrigerator. The breakfast was cooked to order.Would definitely stay here again.
Mixed Review

I have mixed thoughts about this experience. We stayed here about a week ago (Oct. 2017). THE GOOD: The room and bathroom were both spacious. The bed was comfy. The price was fair for what we got, I suppose ($100/night). Breakfast was included and offered eggs, biscuits/gravy, sausage, cereal, fruit, yogurt, etc. Low quality food, but it was included in the price, so hard to complain. THE BAD: There is no HVAC, so the only heat is from a space heater and the AC is from a portable unit that vents out the window. The only good thing about the space heater is that I took it into the bathroom so it wasn't so cold after I showered. The worst part was that the toilet ran all night and we could hear the toilets from other units also run all night. It kept both me and my husband up. The toilet was also an old toilet that probably uses 5-7 gallons to flush, so I can only imagine how much water they're wasting. The signs in the bathroom said be good to the Earth and encouraged us to use the towels more than once. They should follow their own advice and replace or at least repair the toilets. Since this was the complaint of another reviewer, I suspect this is a normal occurrence. The woman at the front desk didn't seem to care much when we mentioned it.
Not a Great Stay

We chose the Red Arrow because of high ratings on Trip Advisor. Our stay was less than pleasurable. On checkin we noted the general run-down condition of the buildings, such as badly stained outdoor carpeting on the decks and badly corroded steel external stairways. Once in our room it became cool - no heater control to be found except for a non-functional dial control on the bathroom. I wanted to call the desk but the sole telephone (next to the toilet) was dead. So I walked and learned from the desk clerk that "well, our heat and air went out some time ago in that building so we installed portable AC units and we give customers a space heater."
So she handed me a small space heater! I told her that was unacceptable and that I should have been informed in advance of their issues so I could have decided to stay or not. We declined to use the heater due to their inherently dangerous nature and because the whole electrical outlet it would be plugged in to was loose in the wall! Next thing we know the clerk is knocking on our door asking permission to enter and try the dead baseboard heating control in the bathroom. After confirming what we knew already she offered a 10% discount off our rate. We accepted and left the next day never to return.
In the plus side the breakfast was very good and even offered Seattle's Best coffee (our favorite).
Red Arrow's issues were not new and all seemed like they were trying to maintain the business in short cash.
Look elsewhere is our advice.
