Really great bedding; mattress and pillow I would pick for my own home. Breakfast is good; area to eat is small so be prepared. Easy access in and out of the location. Then go to Hollister House to eat downtown; straight shot!

The hotel itself was in the middle of nowhere but our room was very comfortable and larger than I expected. The water pressure in the shower wasn't great, but I never expect it to be that great when I'm staying at a hotel. The bed was fairly comfortable and overall I would recommend it as a fairly priced, decent place to stay for a few nights.

Who would of thought so many people would stay at this out of the area hotel? Was a nice, clean and friendly hotel. Room was nice, clean and insect free (that's a plus in this area). The Breakfast had a little of everything (waffles, eggs, sausage, yogurt, juice, coffee, tea). Would definately stay again.

Hollister is what the travel industry would call "a Garden Spot," but only because it is located in the middle of the produce fields. It is in the middle of nowhere. I stayed there for a trip to Monterrey as the hotels there were rather pricey. It is about 40 miles away and the drive isn't too bad except that the road to 101 is under construction and can back up. Eat dinner early; they roll up the sidewalks at 8 pm.
When I drove up to the hotel my nose crinkled. The outside of the place is not impressive. I wouldn't call it a dump, but it was ugly. The room, however, was a pleasant surprise. Comfortable bed, nicely updated, good furniture, lots of room and a nice reading chair.
An excellent value for the money.

Starting at the reservations, Cyndy was the best, checking into the room was easy, the room was clean and ready for my occupancy, check out was easy, follow up emails with receipts was professional, a great place to stay with great people making sure your stay is a good one.
