Our stay at the Clayton hotel was great, the staff were very helpful especially Emily on reception who couldn't do enough for us. The room was great, as was the bar and the all you can eat breakfast. Only a short walk into the city centre. Would recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there the next time we visit Leeds.

We had a great couple of nights here with friends over a weekend. The hotel is about a seven minute walk from the train station and just over the road from a retail park. Breakfast is excellent and worth paying the extra for as it kept us going for a full day of shopping. Staff were really friendly and very helpful. Only downside for us was the restaurant was closed for a wedding and we were offered a table in the busy, noisy bar with the same menu and same prices. We would definitely stay again.

Stayed here this weekend. My friends booked it so didnt really know what to expect. We were up on the 8th floor. I got there before my friends but because i wasnt paying for the room they were unable to give me the key... this was fine i was offered somewhere to store my luggage till my friends arrived and went and sat in the bar.. the girl on reception was fantastic even asked if id like some help with my luggage. When in the room on the 8th floor i was pretty impressed. Large room. Lovely comfortable bed. Everything you could possibly need in the room including a fridge for us to store our pre going out drinks.
For myself the only issue i had was the bin liners in the bins.... i have got ocd and like to leave things clean before i leave. The bin liners were that thin they split when trying to remove them out the bins. Overall a nice enjoyable stay at a nice clean establishment

Arrived early and was welcomed by Georgia at reception who immediately offered to allocate a room she also organised dinner reservations whilst chatting and giving us information about the hotel parking and visiting Leeds she really was very professional. Large room comfortable beds food was of a good standard especially breakfast. Have stayed at Clayton hotels in Ireland and this was equally as good would definitely recommend.

Foyer and bar areas are lovely, bedroom area is well presented, however bathroom is very basic and shower dripped constantly when bath was running.
Noise from adjoining room was audible (prompting a visit to reception to complain).
Service at restaurant was ok, took ages for breakfast to arrive, and when it did was two bits of bacon on a plain brioche bun - not exactly 25 mins work.
Would stay again to give benefit of the doubt but some reservations.
