Room were a reasonable size, clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable.. Buffet breakfast (6 euros) was more than adequate with a reasonable choice. The location is ideal 10/15 minutes in various directions to get to most of the sights.At least a dozen tapas bars/restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Staff were friendly and efficient and special thanks to the night reception. We arrived about 11.40p.m. and noticed a bar still open right opposite the hotel. We asked what time it closed and he said that we should leave our luggage with him, go over and have a drink and come back to the hotel when it closed at Midnight.

The hotel is in the perfect location in Bilbao. Walking distance to everything. The shower is an incredibly small enclosure but totally usable. The room was functional, clean and comfortable.
Thoroughly recommend it.

Very conveniently located in the old town, in laneway with lots of restaurants. About 2 blocks from car accessible road.
Hotel itself is okay - adequate but not spectacular. Bathroom needs more maintenance.
Overall good location and 15 or so minute walk to the Guggenheim.

A very nice hotel located in the center of the old town. The personell was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet very good with lots of choices. There were free wifi, the room was very big and the bathroom had a rain shower and free toiletries.

Bilbao was our last stop in our road trip through Northern Spain and we wanted to be centrally located in the old town. At first, we were concerned with the 2 star rating of Bilbao Jardines but we booked it anyway based on other TripAdvisor reviews. We were very glad we stayed here for 3 nights. The location is absolutely perfect! There are so many restaurants and bars on this same street that we ended up having lunch and dinner next door to the hotel on a few ocassions. We had a room in the back, so noise was no problem. The room was quite large for a two star hotel. The AC worked great. The bathroom had only a shower stall, but the water pressure was good. There were no amenities but it was expected. The room was very clean. The only problem was that the bed was too hard. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very safe with 24 hour front desk attendant and the area is very safe filled with mostly locals all the time. We had three wonderful days in Bilbao. My husband and I fell in love with this city.
