This is the fourth time that I have stayed at this Inn. I enjoy the two indoor pools and the buffet breakfast. The staff is always friendly and very accommodating. I look forward to coming here because it is convenient to many quilt shops and regional restaurants that serve Amish cooking.

We had a smorasbord dinner here with a group of 52. Great variety of food with loads of desserts especially. Most in the group rated the food as fair. They had salad, several types of meat and gravy, mashed potatoes, pizza, all kinds of sides.
The staff who brought coffee and beverages was great. In our section the tables were very close together.
The restaurant had another section where people had tableside service selecting from a more traditional menu
Both sides were packed on a Friday night

Had a great stay at The Bird In Hand Family Inn. All of the staff were very nice and helpful. The Room was great very clean and the furniture was beautiful. The beds are wonderful and cozy. The sheets and towels are top quality. The hotel also offers a complimentary 2 hour tour of the Amish county side with stops at some very nice shops. Our tour guide was outstanding and had lots of great information and insight. She very friendly and did and Great Tour. Thanks for a GREAT stay.

We stayed at inn with our family and grandchildren. Rooms were very nice,beds comfy and the staff very friendly. Pool area was a great addition for the grandkids and the play ground was a added bonus. Will go there again

Yes, this is still one of the best l[laces to stay in the area because it is run like a family business (which it is) and you are treated as family. They listen when there is a problem and try their best to fix it. One other reviewer complained about the pillows. I also have a problem with hotel/motel pillows so, I just bring my own...problem solved. And yes, not all the front buildings have undergone renovation - YET, but they are working on them. If you are looking for a place to SLEEP while you are in the area, I would recommend the Family Inn. Also, the restaurant has great food whether menu or buffet.
