This conference hotel is in an old manor with side buildings, so you will stay in one of six or seven old houses where the rooms are remade to basic hotel rooms. It is also out on the countryside, so you will not be disturbed by traffic, disco's, and such things. You will enjoy fresh air and birds singing. There might be several conferences going on though. The place is clean, service average. Breakfast rather minimalistic, but the evening restaurant is good. I did not have lunch. Plenty of parkings space, free wifi - but when I stayed the wifi had no connection with internet, and I was not informed about that. It had been out of order for a week.

Absolutely EVERYTHING is top notch.
The family run hotel and restaurant and conference resort is just perfect.
Either for a family holiday or a fun week end with your friends.
The food is excellent. A wide variety of fun and unusual beers (they stock my favorite "Tail of the Whale"!) and also nice wines and fine booze.
Quite often there are music events at the massive tipis. Wich need to be seen to be believed!
Do yourself a massive service and go there.
It is fun, great food and drink and all set in absolutely beautiful surroundings.
AND a wolf crossed the lawn on my second visit there. Go figure!

Very friendly staff that were keen of making sure the needs of the guests are met. We came with two dirty mountain bikes and the staff quickly arranged facilities for washing and storing them. The hotel has both a good restaurant and a very cosy pub. We chose the pub and had a great time.
The rooms are also large, quiet and comfortable.
