I had black sheep beer battered haddock with chips and my partner had vegetable curry. Food was amazingly delicious, looked fabulous and was piping hot. Kind friendly service would deffinately recommend

Booked for 7 for family birthday in nearby Reeth. As an older building some rooms are up several flights of stairs but the rooms were really good, welcoming and spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable. Chatted with the friendly owner, staff and locals over a drink before we went out for the evening event (good beer selection) As we were travelling with a dog they even set up breakfast for us all downstairs as the dog couldn't go in the bistro area upstairs where breakfast is normally served. And breakfast was outstanding with all variations on the full Yorkshire being catered for without any hesitation (some didn't want black pudding some something else etc )
And to top it off it really did not cost that much when you take into account the facilities and breakfast . If and when we are back in Richmond will definitely book again !!

This hotel is ideally situated and provides a warm welcome. We had home made soup, and cheese and pickle sandwiches, all made to order. The girl who served us was very busy, but kept calm and was highly efficient. The Theakston beer was beautifully kept and the coffee for two was enough for four cups.
This place is obviously popular and deserves to be.

Called in here for lunch & was not disappointed. Dogs allowed in bar area which always a bonus for us. We just had sandwiches which were really nice. Nice toilets & lovely little areas to sit. Would definitely call in here again. Plenty of people checking in for overnight stay.

Excellence in the middle of Richmond. North Yorkshire. Lovely friendly atmosphere. Food all fresh and plentiful (from sandwiches to fresh cream cakes ) Price for "Tea For Two" amazing. Will definitely return
