Great location and lodge, but...

This lodge has a great location in town, off the Main Street and tucked away. Our patio offered a scenic view of the mountains and blackbird island. However, our room was unfortunately on the street side above the local dive bar "Ducks & Drakes", where they party outside until nearly 2am- nearly every night. I actually had to go to the hardware store to buy earplugs before I lost it.
Overall, the lodge is clean and quiet, as far as other guests and staff go. My husband and I would stay again and be specific about the room location we want.
Also, they do not have much as far as available parking. They are more suited to compact cars and small SUVs than full sized trucks. We had to find on street parking for the majority of our stay.
They do offer a complimentary waffle breakfast. Which is fine for a couple days. But if you want an amazing breakfast check out Louie's cafe, kitty corner to the lodge.
Wonderful week spent in scenic surroundings.

Such a charming place to stay, the free waffles in the morning were a bonus and, set us up for the day. Lots of walking to do in this area so be prepared .The region boasts some very scenic views in the area and well worth exploring. We went to see the local singers perform the Sound of Music in an open air theatre. The cast were superb and the whole show was well worth the entrance fee. Very atmospheric with some exceptionally professional performances.

Booked this last August with plans to hit the Tulip Festival on the way down. The weather delayed the tulips, so straight on to Leavenworth we went. Our 1 bedroom suite was very impressive and well appointed, 4 ladies and lots of room. Everything was within walking distance, shops, wine tasting, amazing choices in restaurants, scenic walks along the river on Blackbird Island. Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was simple, but a great start to the day.
Great B&B in Leavenworth

Very nice place to stay, great views, so close to everything. Parking is the only issue. Very tight parking spots and limited size. Seems like you have to be a part of a timeshare group to be able to stay there. We have stayed many times thru RCI. But have never stayed there as a independent hotel guest. Rated as a 8 out of 10
Nice place for Holiday fun.

We went to the Blackbird Lodge in what would be considered an in-between time this year. In-between time is the time between October-fest festivities and the Christmas lighting festivities. In mid November, Leavenworth is preparing for Christmas.
Our room was #206 on the second floor of Black Bird Lodge through Vacation Internationale. This is a one bedroom, one bathroom unit on the second floor with elevator service. Our unit had a nice sized kitchen with an under counter refrigerator, small dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender and plenty of utensils, and dish-ware. There is no dining room but there is a kitchen counter with bar stools designed for meals.
The living room has a very comfortable to sit on or sleep on large hide a bed. There is a very comfortable chair and tables as well. The tv is a smaller flat screen. There is a sitting area near the window with a view of the hospital and a few shops.
The bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed, flat screen tv and sitting by the window. There is a very nice gas fireplace in the bedroom. The bedroom is separated from the living room by very beautiful glass pocket doors.
The bathroom has everything including a jetted tub. The floors are tile and vanity counter top is huge. There is a hair dryer, soaps, shampoo's and nice towels in this bathroom.
Other amenities include an ironing board, iron and cleaning supplies. Internet worked very well. There are gas bbq's that are seasonal which were closed when we arrived. There is a laundry room on the second floor. There is complimentary breakfast served each morning form 8am to 10 am on the main floor and a reading room with a computer for guest to use.
The parking is in the basement of the building and is kind of tight.
Overall, the location is perfect for all of the activities in Leavenworth.
