Very Classy
David Non 20/11/2017 07:06The entire hotel is just lovely. Beautiful adornments and wood finishes throughout. The staff is extremely friendly and sees to your every need. It's in a great location in Coeur d'Alene as well, very close to the lake, but just out of the busiest part of it. We stayed in two different rooms -- #4 and #7. We liked #4 more mainly because of the sloped ceiling and smaller shower in #7. The beds were both very comfortable as were the pillows.
Anniversary getaway
christi400on 20/11/2017 02:07We live local but wanted to getaway from home to celebrate. The Blackwell was perfect. It was beautiful and quiet. We enjoyed the main house, hot tub and beautiful room. Breakfast was really good and the staff so friendly. One note: be sure they have availability before purchasing a Groupon.
Unique. Personal. and Extravagant!

The hotel was beautiful, room was large and clean, bed was comfortable, staff was friendly and provided recommendations for our stay in town, hands down great experience and place to stay!
Luxury, Convenience, Perfection!
NBCowgirlon 21/10/2017 00:50We've stayed at the Blackwell this week while attending a meeting in CDA and had a wonderful stay in room 2: roomy, luxuriously appointed, quiet and pristine. We love that the hotel is walking distance to the city center of CDA, restaurants and shopping. But what we really love is the luxurious boutique atmosphere and incredible service. And did I mention that the breakfast is scrumptious and offers many high protein options? If you stay at the Blackwell once, you'll stay again and again.
Beautiful Historic Home, Great Stay
Romanticgalon 18/10/2017 18:45My husband and I stayed at the Blackwell Hotel room 9 and it was beautiful and very clean. It should be noted that there is no central air but the stand up heater and heated vent in the bathroom kept us very warm. We actually had to turn it off a couple times because it heated the room great. We were given a tour of the main house and it is beautifully maintained with some beautiful modern artwork which complimented the house nicely. Staff was great, breakfast was great, overall an enjoyable stay.
