Great little hotel - a nice change from budget chains

Business related night out just off the Oxford Street end of Baker Street.
The location of the Blandford is great, just a couple of minutes from the Baker Street tube, and a short walk to Regents Park, (and longer walk to Primrose Hill with stunning views across London).
Hotel areas, and rooms in particular were clean, tidy, and well kept. Bed was super comfortable.
Continental Breakfast was perfect too, wish I'd had time for the full Englished which looked really good.
Great hotel in central London

The location of this hotel cannot be beat. Very close to Regents Park and Hyde Park. Great service and staff. Quiet - no street noise. Outstanding breakfast included. Great value. My only negative comment is how small the rooms are - I had only about 12 inches on each side of the bed to maneuver in, there is a desk but nowhere to sit, and no room to even pull out the desk drawers all the way. Very small bathroom. I only offer this as a warning though as it does not influence my overall rating. Looking for a good value in this part of London I knew rooms would be very small so it is to be expected.
Brilliant Find in the Heart of London

Travel to London on business frequently and have stayed in both budget and luxury hotels. This little gem was a great find and very reasonably priced. When travelling on business I usually end up spending very little time in my hotel room but do like a certain element of comfort. I booked a single room and although the room itself was on the small size was ideally suited for one person. It looks as though the hotel had recently been refurbished to a very high standard and the the quality of the room was first class. A very comfortable bed, large screen TV, air conditioning, lovely well fitted bath/shower room. I travel by train in to Marylebone and the hotel is no more than a 5 minute walk from the train station and literally 2 minutes walk from Baker Street where you can access all ares of London with ease. Various local restaurants on the door step and convenience stores all easily accessible. Staff were friendly and accommodating, i checked in early and there was a room available and they were more than happy to look after my luggage after I had checked out. Continental breakfast was very good with an option of full English. First class hotel and will definitely be using again.
Perfect for us

Some Context: We are an older, retired couple.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Blanford. Our room was very clean and the bed was quite comfortable. We slept well. It was very quiet in the hotel since the hotel is on a quiet street. The people at the desk, especially Mr. Yousf, were wonderful, always greeting us and helping us with all queries and reported needs. The breakfast was good, a nice way to start the day.
The hotel was accessible to everyplace we wanted to go. We walked many places including Hyde Park, which was about a fifteen-minute walk away and the British Museum, a little further. The Underground stop was only a few-minutes walk away. The Underground was easy to navigate and easy to pay for. We loaded up the oyster card and used that. (Much easier to navigate than the New York subway system, which we use several times a year.) We did not ride on the buses, but we saw many zipping down Marleybone, the big street a few minutes away. There are many restaurants in the neighborhood. (We love Indian food and ate at the two Indian restaurants on Paddington St. We liked them both very much.)
One of us is a runner and loved having Regent’s Park so close. Ran there several mornings. Regent’s is a lovely park.
The room is small compared to American hotels, but we organized our things, spent most time out in the city, and did not find the size of the room to hamper us in any way. We stayed seven nights.
We loved being in London, where we found people everywhere to be both warm and kind. The Blanford was the foundation of our London experience. We very much enjoyed our stay there.

This hotel is newly decorated, super clean and has got everything to make you feel at home. The staff is very nice and I felt very comfortable and I will definitely go back if I'm in town again. It is very close to Baker Street Tube Station, walking distance from Marylbone. Loads of shops, coffee shops, supermarket and affordable retails.
Thank you to the staff.
