A very nice motel, clean and everything you need in the motel. Beds were very nice and comfortably, large kitchen, lovely sofa and dining table. We had a one bedroom unit which had a queen bed and good storage in the bedroom. There was also a single bed in the lounge. We were able to park our car outside of our unit. The owners were very nice. One block away are two supermarkets and the motel is central to all attractions. Would recommend this motel and would stay again.

This is such a central position for a motel but also quiet and comfortable. We were greeted warmly and given the option to stay in a unit with kitchen facilities. Comfortable bed and spacious unit with everything we needed.

GPS would not recognize Mill Road - despite it being a main road - so a little bit of faffing around to find it. Made very welcome on arrival. Rooms were large and spacious and very clean. An 'older' motel style but quiet and slept like a log. Very close to supermarket if you were going to use the kitchenette. Owners gave great advice regarding local places to eat and the Kensington Tavern Bar and Grill was a short walk away. Pub Grub but excellent selection of steaks, chicken seafood and burgers.... that's certainly a good food choice and as things go cheap and beautifully cooked. Would be a good place to stay for extended time as relatively cheap.

Clean room with full kitchenette and good bathroom. Handy walk to supermarkets and a quick drive into the centre of Whangarei. Very pleasant service. No laundry but I understand that this is being developed.

This is the place to stay in Whangarei. Spent 1 night here on our travels in a 1 bedroom apartment. Dave the owner is great - fast checkin in, gave us some great suggestions of sights to see and where to eat - we did everything he suggested and he was spot on, thanks Dave. Rooms are big, quiet, clean with modern con's, we didn't notice any road noise. The small bottle of fresh milk was a nice welcome.
