The hotel is situated centrally within 5-10 mins from airport,market,jetties.It is a vegetarian hotel which makes it very popular with south indian tourists.The restaurant provides good vegetarian meals which do not make a non-veg like me yearn for non-veg dishes.Whenever i visit Port Blair for official trips i stay here and hold meetings in the banquet hall.
The double bed rooms are spacious but the bedsize is little small for 2 persons to sleep comfortably.The bathroom size is also okay with gyser.
Even if you go single, avoid the single bedroom.The hotel donot have wifi and with internet connectivity a problem in the island I think the hotel authorities have purposefully avoided wifi connection.The locality is quiet and have gift shops nearby.
The checkout time is 8am ,so book your air tickets for flts between morning and noon.

This hotel is located 2.5Km from the airport. You easily get rickshaws to the airport for Rs 50 to Rs 100.
The property is old but well maintained. Vegtarians get good options here.
Rooms are clean and spacious.
There is no wifi in the hotel. We stayed only for a day and hence this was not a problem.
All the major places in Port blair are well connected from here

It is situated heart of city with good market around. All important points like Airport, Jetty, Sports Park etc. are within 2-3 kilometers. Hotel is okay but vegetarian food is really good. Complementary breakfast was very good, and staff was cooperative.

Had to stay here since we got pure veg food option in-hotel only here. We first didn't like the provided rooms but they fixed and provided other better option. It is centrally located so it is a nice place to stay if you are staying in port Blair for 3 or more days. You'll get to visit places around easily. The food was remarkably good too.

there was a crowd waiting outside the hotel however it was not clear whether the crowd was for the hotel/ restaurant or just chilling. so we walked inside the restaurant and the waiter said, please wait while he cleans the table. another waiter came after 5 mins saying, sorry we are full, we have to wait. so i walked to the manager at the billing counter of the restaurant, and asked him, sir, how long do we have to wait? he says, "i do not know". i tried making him understand, that you will have tables for 2/4/8/etc, so we are 2 ppl, will you have a table for 2. he said i dont know. my friend is a true vegeterian, and we actually had to finally search another one, which was nto a pure vegeterian restaurant. actually, in a nut shell very bad hospitality
