Camping field is spacious.

The camping field is rather uneven for driving across however there are flat areas for pitching up, and as the cars have to be returned to hard standing the field is safe for children to play.
With the camping field being so spacious no one had to pitch near anyone else if they didn't want to, as we were a large group (10 tents) we had our area and were left alone without disturbance from other campers.
The toilets and facilities are in converted containers which were surprisingly nice inside and well looked after, there is an honesty box for the shower (charged at £2) but when we were there shower gel, toothpaste was available if needed.
Would definitely come again.

This is at a lovely old brick farm house that has horses nearby and all the green fields you could wish for.
Separate shared toilet and shower rooms are just across the hall from small, but adequate bedrooms.
Downstairs there is a large sitting room with comfortable leather chairs that is next to the dining room. Breakfasts included English breakfasts cooked on demand by the lovely Janet, who is the owner. The coffee from Janet's coffee plunger was the best I have had in days.
A mile or two away are two nice hotels should you wish to have lunch or evening meals nearby.

Great to be on a farm, in the roof of converted barn, cosy rooms, especially the loo n shower, but private! ...with every little thing thought of! Fantastic breakfast in friendly style all together! Lovely for chat! Brilliant!
Wonderful Gem of a place 😁

Tucked neatly off the a38, this is a beautiful old farm house with bedrooms let out for B&b.
Our en suite was cleverly concealed in the wardrobe and although small was perfect for our use.
The room was comfortable and clean. I would recommend summer duvets as the12 tog provided, it was too heavy for June. I slept under the duvet cover only.
Breakfast was delicious!!
Never again. Avoid!

Positives...
•Internally, the barn conversion looks nice.
Negatives...
•The most unwelcoming 'welcome' I have ever experienced. Certainly didn't feel like guests and definitely didn't feel at home, felt like we were treading on eggshells our whole stay.
•Paper thin walls, so much so that we could work out which TV shows the room next door were watching.
•Room was far too hot if the window was shut. Open the window and you have horses braying all night just a few metres away and a main road with traffic all night.
•An already very small room had the most ridiculously small en suite in the world. It is built into a wardrobe and almost impossible to move with the door shut.
•Room was barely clean. More than a few stray hairs, no fresh toiletries, floor needed to be vacuumed.
•Breakfast was poor. A single small mushroom, half a small tomato, cheap baked beans and two fried eggs.
•Take your own pillow, the ones provided are paper thin.
•A general lack of any form of hospitality whatsoever. Conversations were forced, we seemed to be an inconvenience to the owners rather than valued guests.
I usually prefer B&B's to chain, budget hotels, but would certainly have preferred a Travelodge on this occasion. Avoid!
