We stayed in a 2 bedroom townhouse and were blown away by how clean and new everything looked. Wifi was great and the kitchen had everything you need from cutlery to washing machine. The resort itself is stunning and peaceful, exactly what we were looking for. We made daily use of both indoor and outdoor pools, both kept impeccably clean and were not busy at all. The daily housekeeping were great, a couple of the days we were sunbathing outside and they were so quiet and unobtrusive we didn't even know they'd been until we went back inside! We didn't eat at the restaurant as we were either out or cooked ourselves (supermarket is less than 5 mins away in the car) but the menu looked like everyone is catered for. Reception was very friendly and you could tell if there was a problem or query you could approach them and they'd do everything they could do to help.
100% would recommend staying here and we will definitely be going back next year for a longer stay.

Been here many times and it just gets better. The golf course has improved and the greens are like velvet.
The WiFi that I moaned about a few years back is now up with the times and is as automatic as my daughters gob.
The breakfast buffet is something to behold so abandon the idea of doing self catering. You can eat enough to sink a ship before you head to the beach. Just ignore Sebastian going on about drinking water But then he was looking at my gut when he said it.
My only criticism would be the number of French people staying and taking over the dining room as only the French can. Surely now with the make up man married to the OAP they want to stay in France and practice powder puffing. Can't they leave the Algarve alone ......please ....pretty please
Boavista is a gem. Lovely staff . Yvonne who does swimming lessons is a must. a lovely person who has a great way of getting kids to swim. Shame she lives here but I don't blame her.
We will be back.

We rented a 4 bedroomed villa which was spacious, but a bit dated. The kitchen had built in fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine which were good quality and clean. Some of the kitchen utensils were basic and the mugs were thick and chunky. There were no cups that fitted the ‘pod’ coffee machine so we had to improvise. We would have preferred a cafetière so we could have bought ground coffee. A few pods were provided but no decaf and no information on where to buy the pods. We ate a couple of times at the club house and enjoyed the food although the cod with a crust was incredibly salty. The WiFi was pretty poor and erratic.

We were a group of four ladies here for a week's golf and stayed in a lovely newish 2 storey 2 bedroom townhouse which was very clean, well serviced, met all our needs and the staff were great - especially the golf staff.
HOWEVER we were not warned about the 20 min walk to reach the clubhouse and restaurant each day and although there was a shuttle bus advertised to run 3 times a day this was erratic at best (we had to ring reception every time it didn't turn up) and none existent after 6.00pm. The fantastic golf staff ran us back in their 'golf limousine' at the end of each day and helped transport our luggage/clubs on our final day - we would have really struggled without them! Had we known in advance we could have rented a car for the week but really just the use of a golf buggy or similar for shuttling ourselves around the resort would have meant we would have made far more use of the facilities, especially the spa and restaurant!
We used taxis for trips to Lagos and local restaurants but as guests at the resort we wanted to dine in the clubhouse on our final evening so asked if any transport was available to take and collect us (even a golf buggy?) Reception told us to call a taxi! So we did - and went elsewhere!

Reception by Careway was in a building at the entrance to the resort. Very convenient, indeed. Our 2 storey, 2 bedroom townhouse was very spacious, clean and comfortable. It had views over the rooftops to Lagos. Parking was at the front door. Residents enjoy 35% and 10% discounts, respectively, on green fees and restaurant expenses. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal but the less than 10 minute drive to the numerous restaurants in Praia da Luz, made it unnecessary. Very good location - 25 min drive to Sagres/Vila do Bispo and 10 min to Lagos. We should've stayed the week and used it as a base to golf and for exploring the area.
