Typical Marriott service and amenities, hotel is in great location with outstanding selection of resturants just steps away. Boca Center is across the street and FAU is a short 5 minute drive. Hotel has a nice pool and gym

I've stayed here several times for work, including last weekend. Every time, the staff is excellent, friendly and accommodating. I was allowed to check in 4 hours early since I was there for an event. The restaurant is right up from and has interesting (if slightly expensive) food, and the beds are the most comfortable I've ever slept in while traveling. I was just at the Ritz Miami 2 weeks ago - this bed was cozier, fluffier, and had softer sheets. Great stay all around.

This Boca Marriott has deteriorated to say the least, Many of my friends, family members and customers stayed in this location. Once it was top, clean and comfortable hotel. Today not so much and it keeps getting worse. Location is perfect, near downtown, mall, I-95 exits, but it really means nothing with the state the hotel is in. Rooms are dirty, they smell like sewage (smell was coming from bath tubs). Couple of hotel rooms (we had 4) smell heavily from smoking too. Staff was very professional and helpful, we got couple of different rooms, but they were not much better. Elevator, floors, hallways are on par with 1 star motels. Breakfast for sufficient, again nothing memorable. This time I felt embarrassed to my family for choosing a hotel of low quality and comfort.

The Boca Marriott has deteriorated to the point that it needs, one floor at a time, to be totally demolished and rebuilt into the “luxury” hotel it claims to be on its website to. I have been staying here for years (it unfortunately is the best location and best Marriott in the town) and it keeps getting worse - even though the rooms were upgraded a few years ago. Room was dirty; bathtub had big chip in it (initially, it was unclear whether the “black spot” on the tub floor was a bug or dirt); sink was too small for a couple to use; bathroom door was filthy inside and out with dark fingerprints; toilet space was shared with an ironing board and iron encroaching on the user; bed mattress was so overdue for replacement that I woke up with a back ache. Pool area is dark and dirty with cigarette butts. To top it off, at the beginning of my second day I received a text asking me to rate the hotel from 1 to 10. I rated it a 2. Texter asked for an explanation and I requested a call to explain rather than to engage in a lengthy text exercise. No call came. I texted again the next day. Finally, 30 hours after the initial exchange, I got a text from the manager apologizing. Finally spoke with the manager, explained the problems, and was promised a follow up. I was immediately given a price reduction, but have had no follow up. The owner of the property, H.E.I., owns many fine properties. It is time to make this a fine property. It is a prime location but after 30 years of neglect (of a hotel that was never very classy to start with), it is not worthy of the Marriott flag - even with its minimalistic “6” rating.

Stayed here for 4 days late October. Rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds and clean.
Front desk was helpful and friendly.
Hotel is located close to the Town Center Mall and the residential areas nearby. It is used extensively by local inhabitants and there were four functions in the hotel that weekend.
Our room was a little noisy with quite a few people going to bed late and on occasion waking us up so best to request a room at the end of the corridor if you are worried about noise.
Breakfast was above average for a hotel in this class but the full buffet was a little expensive for what is provided.
Overall I would recommend the hotel for anyone who needs a base in the area. It is suitable for both business and leisure travellers and in a very good location and the standard is good.
