We were on a coach trip to Italy and we stayed at the Boston very friendly and welcoming the dining room staff were very nice friendly very nice place to meet up with friends for a drink and chat I would recommend

I booked this hotel as part of a package and was using Montecatini as a base to travel to Lucca and Florence. It was perfect for my needs. The room was a little worn but the bathroom looked like it had been newly refurbished, with a fabulous double sized shower. The train station was a 5 minute walk away. I used the first day to discover what Montecatini had to offer, visiting the Spa and also taking the Funicular railway up to Montecatini Alto (which can be found by walking up the road from the hotel). The views from the top are just awesome and well worth it, with a few restaurants in the town square. The roof top swimming pool is in a neighbouring property, also owned by Hotel Boston, great for cooling off and lovely to watch a sunset if you don't want to travel too far! Breakfast was a mixture of cereals, yoghurts, toast, Cakes, Meats and Cheese... very typical of a hotel trying to suit the needs of most nationalities. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay here and would go back.

I immediately fell in love with Montecatini Terme. The broad streets lined with trees and singing birds were a welcome after being in the big cities. Plus, having sidewalks versus cobblestones made rolling my luggage from the train terminal much easier.
But, the highlight came when entering Hotel Boston and Federica greeted us. She was so warm and welcoming and then assisted us over and over again in the next few days. We were in walking distance to everything we desired on this trip. Although we did ride the funicular up to Montecatini Alto, we still walked to the funicular. This ended up a big plus because we discovered a gorgeous park and what appeared to be a huge estate (Terme Tettuccio), which really is a spa. I highly recommend going to Terme Tettuccio just to wander, not necessarily to indulge in the mineral water.
Boston Hotel was clean and comfortable (although the pillows could be softer). I appreciated that they gave us new towels every day. All the staff was helpful and greeted us upon entering or leaving.
There are many hotels in this community, but I wouldn't hesitate to go back to Boston.

Had a really great stay in Montecatini. Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms although a bit small were very comfortable. Shower cubicle very small but managed. Pool facility very good with good facilities. Food excellent and restaurant staff great. Prices for drinks very reasonable and their house wine was excellent. Wifi worked very well in all parts of the hotel, a wee bit slow sometimes but not too much. Hotel very central and Montecatini itself beautiful and lovely to browse both shops and sights. Happy to recommend

Good value to the money. Clean and nice place. I stayed there 6 nights during my visit in Tuscany and I can say only good things about the hotel and the service. The room was not very big but comfortable and nice.
