This is good value for money so I would rate as Good not average but not 'very good' (need more slections). Both rooms i had were a good size, clean and comfortable. The hotel is looking tired in places although a beautiful old building that must be expensive to maintain. Staff friendly enough although service in restaurant a little slow and we did have a long wait for our mains to arrive. Food was good when it arrived but menu choice very limited so only ate in first night. Brwakfast good, normal routine although eggs had to be ordered and again, service slow with only one person on taking orders and bringing food out, not good if in a hurry. Note, breakfast does not start until 0700 which is late for business people so a mad rush at 0700 where the one servee becomes overloaded quickly.

Enjoyed our overnight stay, the building has a 'classic' feel to it, clean, very helpful staff. The pool was a great temperature/ size and the spa facilities (steam room, sauna, jacuzzi) were fun. We had a meal in the restaurant and they were very accommodating to my partners' allergies so had a lovely evening.

Travelling for work recently, and needed to stay near Southampton, after a glance on booking .com, Botley Grange hotel was the choice. I wasnt disappointed, easy to find, plenty of parking, a friendly welcome and a pleasant room.
I had couple of drinks at the bar, and then early night, next day a swim in the leisure pool and breakfast.

We attended a wedding yesterday, it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. We loved the venue, the food, the drinks, the entertainment and would like to thank all the staff for looking after us. Special thanks to Becky for being being super efficient making sure we had everything we needed and that we were all having a good time!

We booked an afternoon tea for two at the Botleigh Grange and were very pleased with a selection of finger sandwiches, cakes, scones, cream and a selection of preserves. The service was excellent, the scones as light as could be and the whole experience an absolute delight. Thoroughly recommend and will definitely visit again.
