A Historical Gem in the Land of Glitter
Rollo Pon 10/11/2017 14:26We needed to go to Las Vegas for a conference in early November, which happened to fall on a busy convention week. Prices were high even during the mid week, so we looked farther out. And we found this gem at a reasonable price in the middle of Boulder CIty, 30 min from the Strip. A historical building, now a hotel and small museum, it was a pleasant surprise. Rooms were small but well appointed with antique furniture and old-time photos. One of the best amenities was the complimentary made-to-order breakfast. I will stop in here again.
Home base for western adventures!
Atlmom2011on 07/11/2017 01:42On a recent trip to explore The Grand Canyon, Death Valley and the Hoover Dam we choose this as a "central" location. The hotel is full of history and charm, and was very enjoyable. The complimentary breakfast was a very nice bonus - and you can also order from a menu (very reasonable prices). The room we had was small, but adequate for our needs. Very clean, very helpful staff! Front desk staff had menus of local restaurants and great information about the Hoover Dam.
Peaceful End of a journey across Nevada, Utah and Colorado
kaychristianluxon 30/10/2017 20:17After traveling for a 3 weeks ( 2adults and 2 children of 15 and 18 years) and visiting national parks in different states, we had chosen the Boulder Dam Hotel as our last place before taking the plane in LV.
This historic hotel reminds you of a period of time long ago and is full of historic details, very special atmosphere. It offers also a free (for hotel guest) visit to the Museum of the construction about the Boulder /Hoover Dam, worth visiting.
Rooms are very clean and come with all possible comfort. By choosing your breakfast, you should pay attention that everything "sweet" is much more expensive than the rest.
For dinner you have 2 to 3 very good restaurants just a few meters away (we tried Evan's Old Town Grille, perfect pasta and cold beer)
Just a hint, you won't find a single Casino in Boulder Dam City, very quite place.
Great for a visit
northernkon 26/10/2017 17:16Did not stay here, next time. Reviews seem believable... all depends on your expectations... this is a classic old time hotel.. wandered through the hotel and lobby. Has a small museum area inside as well. Nicely kept up on the parts a passthrough could see.

Diane Con 22/10/2017 00:38We absolutely enjoyed out stay at this hotel!! We did not want to travel into and stay in Vegas so decided on The Boulder Dam Hotel. We made an excellent choice. Beautiful old hotel that has very nice comfortable rooms that are decorated in period style. They have a museum on the Dam that is excellent and you get a fresh hot made to order breakfast in the restaurant downstairs. We were very pleased and comfortable with out stay here.
