It’s a great little get away with plenty of trail access. On give mine f I’m Boulder and about 15 from Nederland. It’s exactly what we were needing for a nice quiet get away for the girlfriend and myself. Would recommend it to anyone that wants to relax and maybe adventure some.

Went to visit son at CU. A challenge to find an affordable place for 4 and our dog to stay. The cabin at BAL was perfect. Not fancy, but clean with a beautiful setting. Two queen beds and bunk bed provided plenty of room. From description, I didn't realize there was a full kitchen. Easy travel into Boulder. Would stay again.

Stayed here on our way through Boulder. Loved the rustic accommodations, and the staff was super helpful. If you are looking for luxury, this isn’t the spot — but we loved it. The only complaint I’d have is that the heat needs to be upgraded, the in room heaters were loud but were helped by ear plugs. I would recommend!

This was exactly what I was looking for. I needed a place to stay while enjoying Boulder. Staff very friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic for us-we are runners and we all had easy access to the trail in Boulder Canyon. It's a few minutes by car to downtown Boulder. The hotel seemed full but it was quite even though it's laid out motel style. The rooms are nothing special in terms of luxury but the beds are comfortable and there's a kitchen area. Breakfast was included (a couple cereals, yogurt, oatmeal, juice, coffee/tea/milk) though I'd have appreciated a little more protein. If you're looking for the Four Seasons I'd suggest elsewhere but for a place to sleep and grab a bite in the morning then launch into Boulder activities this is highly recommended.

We loved A-Lodge! Older, yes, but well maintained, very clean - everything we needed, nothing we didn't! Friendly, helpful staff...and dogs to pet. First time in Colorado and really didn't want a chain hotel experience in the city. Nestled alongside a creek, it was very peaceful. And A-Lodge has everything nearby in Boulder. We spent most of our time in Rocky Mountain Natl Park. Lovely room to come back to after long days hiking.
