The house is pretty and comfortable; the hosts, Ian and Catherine, are warm and helpful without being intrusive; the breakfast is delicious. There's a Saxon church in the village, a Norman church up the road and good pubs all around. Splendid.

I recently stayed at Brant House on business and was made to feel very welcome. Ian and Katherine (hope I spelt it right) were fantastic hosts and it was a pleasure to stay with them. I can heartily recommend Brant House.

Comfortable rooms, good breakfast, lovely house and setting, excellent hosts.
Very accessible to visit Newark, Lincoln, villages and walks on the Lincoln Ridge.

Brant House is a delightful place to stay. We used it as a base from which to explore the Peak District and the city of Lincoln. The hosts, Catherine and Ian, are very welcoming and we quickly felt at home. Nothing was too much trouble. Our very spacious room was extremely comfortable and the large ensuite was an added bonus. Served in the dining room overlooking the garden, breakfast was a real feast. These features plus the added touches of fresh flowers and fruit in our room as well as the friendliness of our hosts really made us feel at home. We'd love to return one day.

Fab place to stay the hosts are lovely and very very helpful. Rooms are top quality lovely beds breakfast is top quality local meat cooked fresh the walk round the house is fab and the little church. You could not get a better b&b thank you for a wonderful stay.
