Stayed here in a group of 13 and hadn't booked for dinner, but after a long hot day's cycling we couldn't move another metre. There was only one waiter and one cook who did a fantastic job in serving us and the 10 or so other customers on what normally would have been a very quiet night. Food was all great, kebabs, spare ribs frites and excellent mayo and plentiful though there was a mix up in two of the orders, but the service was so friendly we didn't mind. As far as the hotel goes, rooms at the back look over the beer garden and forest, while those at the front look overt he R Gent, but the view isn't really great. Rooms were a moderate size and very clean. Breakfast was usual continental but not much cereal.

Small Brasserie Hostellerie. Clean rooms and bathroom. No elevator lot of stairs. The rooms at the back are a little bit dark and there could be a smell from the restaurant.At the front is better.
Sober breakfast area with small buffet. The restaurant is nice with good food for a good price. From the hotel you can walk to the village of Valkenburg.

We didn't stay this hotel but we took the dinner at the terrace. It was a nice terrace but the food was terrible. I must say it was really for the farmers. The prices were very reasonable but it was not for us.
Beside that we were served by none friendly waitress.
