The hotel is in a very beautiful location and is extremely comfortable throughout. Pleasant staff who were very attentive but unobtrusive. Food is very good - especially the local yoghurt and sausages at breakfast time and of course the seafood! Definitely worth the effort to travel to Alderney to meet such friendly locals, view the dramatic scenery, learn about the unique history and relax into the island culture.

Stayed for a few nights at the Braye Beach in October. The hospitality was fantastic (sherry in your room) and the food in the restaurant top quality. It has a number of added bonus's - right on a brilliant beach and adjacent to the Divers pub. It is also just a short walk into St Anne if you want something different (although most things are a short walk on Alderney).

My Family have just returned from our 2nd visit to the Braye Hotel and yet again everything was perfect, from the moment we arrived we were welcomed and Richard remembered us from the last time we stayed which was lovely (he couldn't really forget me) ha
My cousin had her wedding meal on the Friday at the Braye and oh my god, it is some of the best food I have ever tasted, it was truly wonderful, compliments to the Chefs. All the staff were attentive and so pilot, Elle was fab.
Breakfast each morning was fresh and delightful, big shout out to the fresh croissants, yum yum, each morning we had our little chat with Richard which just set us up for the day filled with laughter.
The hotel was beautiful, fresh and clean. rooms were comfy and had everything you needed. thank you for the Sherry :-)
I just wanted to thank you again for a lovely stay and hopefully we will be back soon.
Thank you again Richard for your hospitality, it was second to non.

We enjoyed our stay last year so much we had to go back just to see if it was that good and yes it is that good, Richard and his team are fantastic nothing is to much trouble, the food is some of the best i'v eaten nicely presented ,great menu selection and a great use of seasonal foods Oh and the wine, last year Richard introduced us to a Garnacha Rosado and this year a fabulous Merlot both house recommendations and very reasonably priced. the bedrooms, a lovely nice big bed ,great bathroom and nice touches , fresh fruit ,fridge with fresh milk and bottled water, and a decanter with sherry, our room had a fantastic view over Braye Bay and the sound of the wind and crashing waves is to me so calming , we had a wonderful week in a very luxurious hotel with some very nice people and we will be back, apart from the hotel the island is beautiful, great walks fantastic views loads of history all around you and the people are so friendly and helpful, a wonderful Island to visit.
