On arrival the whole place looked dated. We had upgraded - hmm same chalet just a bit cleaner and tidier with the most hilarious bedding provided, I say hilarious because it was so thin and bizarre colours I think if we had used it we would have had nightmares. Beds very uncomfortable badly position under windows where the curtain flap in your face. Cooker rings rusted but toaster new and microwave ok. Bathroom ok really it was clean. We experienced a leak in the roof the first night of our stay reported it and accepted that nothing could be done as it was dark -asked for towels to mop up water and stop the dripping noise all night but did not expect nothing more to be done during our total stay! Facilities not good pub dirty and dull lots of activities not working poor safety in some areas and very basic. Saying all this it was very cheap but cleanliness should not be sacrificed by price. Cleanliness is something the cheapest accommodation to the most expensive should be the same. Would I go again NO WAY I am sure the staff do the best they can with what they have but come on Pontins do you want horrid reviews - unhappy customers - get updating and offer fair accommodation and facilities at a reasonable price. This was just not acceptable.

Well there’s a lot of bad about this place and no good stuff.
The room was dreary, key to get in was hard to use, kitchen cooker rings were rusty, microwave was dirty, bathroom was full of rust.
NO onsite venues open

This has to be the worst place in the uk, it's falling to pieces, you get given any type of accommodation even though you paid extra for a separate bedroom and living room. The bathrooms kitchens bedrooms are all in need of being demolished, in fact the whole place needs to be raised to the ground. I have never stayed anywhere like this before in my life. This was our 4th visit to Pontins 2nd time to Brean and we have not experienced any of the problems that have been reported on TripAdvisor. We went at October half term chalet was clean and well equipped the weather wasn't great but kids had fun swimming, riding the bikes and the indoor adventure area. Staff all polite, bluecoats fantastic as ever. The kids loved the crocky horror show ( so did i) Matt Edwards brilliant. All entertainment was great. The only downside was the sofa bed not very comfy!! But I don't see what could be done with this due to space. Cost about 50 quid for 3 nights. So fed up with the slating people give Pontins it provides quality affordable family time and for all those that say it should be shut down there are plenty more that stay there time and time again which shows why it doesn't. Keep up the good work Pontins see you soon

Do not go here!! I actually can't believe that people stay here. The first chalet was filthy. The cheap mattresses were BLACK, never seen anything like it. Why weren't they knocked down in the 70's??
They stink and are nicotine stained from how many thousand cigarettes I wouldn't like to guess.
They decided to move me to club class YAY
Got there and literally the EXACT same as the one previously, hang on wait, there was a handle on the fridge instead of 2 manky nails, but to add insult to injury there was an unidentified brown substance smeared on the nicotine stained walls!!
Sun holidays what are you doing having this place on your books.
To be fair to the staff, they did arrange for me to be completely reimbursed.
