We stayed for one night at the Grand Hotel des Bains during August. We were greeted warmly. As we arrived late morning and our room was not ready, the clerk gave us several very helpful suggestions on where to eat lunch. The room was small but wonderfully appointed, overlooking the interior courtyard. Good bathroom for a small French hotel. We had the buffet breakfast in the courtyard, and it was very good although there was a lot of congestion around the buffet itself. The hotel is in a great location, about a 3-minute walk from the main beach. I recommend it.

The hotel, is not right on the seafront but very close. The garage is safe and locked in the evening. We went in mid September after the mad summer rush and it was a delightful small hotel with friendly staff and a great breakfast.

After a bad experience in Arcachon, this hotel was the perfect antidote.
A lovely room (No 22) with a nice shower and the nice touch of a Nespresso coffee machine. The WiFi was excellent, the bed comfy and sufficient space to unwind. The pool and Spa are great and help to prepare for a meal out. The room looked out over a romantic courtyard.
The proprietor was very helpful and there is a garage if you prefer not to park on the street.

The hotel is in the center of town, a steps away from the beach. The rooms are nice, the service friendly and the prices very fair. A good breakfast is served. This is a hotel were you feel at home in a friendly atmosphere.

Our second overnight visit to this lovely select hotel . Cosy room and very comfortable bed - we were upgraded to Privilege plus because it was a repeat visit - and a good petit dejeuner as well
We would definitely come here again if we come to Fouras again next year
