Stayed at Bristol Amman for 7 consecutive nights; room was very comfy for such a long stay! The best thing about Bristol is it’s strategic location being located at the 5th Roundabout we avoided most of the traffic jam. Recommended!

This is the third time I have stayed here in the last few weeks but tonight will be my last night.
As many other reviews have reported, the hotel is impossibly noisy. The bar on the top floor stays open until 0230 and the music is just so so loud (and the fact that the fire escape door is wedged open with shisha pipes doesn't help..!).
So although the staff are nice, the location is good, the rooms are fine, the prices are fair and the gym is functional, I will leave three days early tomorrow and move to another hotel. And I won't be coming back in future trips.
Whether staying for business or for leisure no-one should be expected to wait until 0230 before being able to sleep (you really have to believe me when i say the music is loud in the upper floor rooms ...I am on the fifth floor on an outside facing room and it is just so noisy...)
It is 0140 in the morning and I have just been offered another "quieter" room. A nice approach (I said the staff are always nice) but it is too late for me to move. Instead I will simply wait another 45 minutes to sleep and then move to another quieter hotel tomorrow.
What a pity....as I said I like the place (and its faded 5 star features) but it is impossibly noisy. Goodbye.

I enjoyed my stay at the Bristol Hotel. It's clean. The staff is friendly. The location is good. But it is not a 5 star or 4 star hotel. It's just not there. The decor is dated. Carpet needs replacing. Shower leaked about a gallon of water on the bathroom floor after each shower (a friend staying on the same floor had the same problem). Breakfast buffet is good, but not 5 star quality.
Having said that, the price is reasonable, given the accommodations. Just don't expect a 5 star experience for a 3 star price.

Jordon is such an amazing country and with Amman as the base (everything to visit is within an hour north to 4 hrs south of Amman) this hotel is a great central location.
The staff are very helpful and pleasant

Frustrating stay. Simply do not bother unless you want to irritate yourself daily with items missing, lighting that is "romantic", toilet flush that does not work, heating that does not work, damp quilt covers, one slipper for two people, one fork and one knife for two, cups without saucers, one glass for two people, face washers that appear one day and disappear unless you ask for them again, wardrobes that have not been cleaned for umpteen years, electricity that goes out, air conditioning unit that leaks, vacuuming of the room that you have to ask for and then point out where the cleaning needs to be done. Best bit, is the bottles of water that are opened and drank from placed in the room as your quota for the day, if you need more your are then charged for it, so if you need to brush your teeth, take medications or simply drink water, a one 300ml bottle does not go far. Oh and do not bother asking for another better room because they simply do not have it, or was that because a woman asked for it.... Yes that is another thing you distinctly notice is the lack of respect for women.
One redeeming feature is reasonable breakfast with polite waiters...Though terrible coffee.
