Such a lovely place to stay. We were given only top notch service from all the staff. Rooms are very spacious and nicely decorate with a little antique charm. Breakfast was wonderful we enjoyed the bonus of a good warm breakfast with an array to choose from.

Another 5 star stay. Once again, clean large room, comfortable bed, quiet, economical, a cheerful, responsive staff, and an excellent full breakfast. Safe, convenient, location. Abundant hot water. I will return and recommend the Bristol without qualification.

it looks okay but is very dirty. not sure they wash the sheets. very understaffed. carpets are filthy. its an affordable option because the area is expensive but honestly call and ask if they have washed the carpet and the bedspread and changed the sheets before you stay. Its really too dirty for any price in my book. its decorated nice and the double bed rooms are big. Go if you don't mind dirty room.

Let me say everything looks like the pictures but the camera is being very kind. I literally did not put my clothes down anywhere that was not glass. The carpet was filthy and the sheets had spots on them. Cobwebs on the chandeliers. The ottoman looked like it had urine or God knows what on it. We got there early, checked in without really looking at the room and went to business meeting. When we got back, it was late. When they say 24 hrs front desk, they mean if you wait, we will get someone to you sometime soon. They did not have another room available. I don't know where the good reviews saying its clean come from, but it was not anywhere close to being acceptable. The breakfast had styrofoam cups, undercooked potatoes and runny oatmeal. The bagel was good. Can't really ruin bagel. It was not fresh but ice cold. Better after toasting it. No decaf coffee. The ownership seems to be running a very tight ship budgetwise (cough cheap) with cutting corners on staff and cleaning. The pictures speak for themselves

We stayed here for a couple of days at he end of a 3 week US trip. It was the third hotel that we had used in the San Jose area, and was the best by a mile. Spacious rooms, spotlessly clean, comfortable public areas, friendly staff and good car parking. Minor complaints - use of styrofoam cups instead of glasses and mugs at breakfast, and small bath towels. Despite those issues we would stay at this hotel in the future, but would appreciate it if these niggles were addressed.
