Chalk this one down to experience having read what I thought were good reviews. The staff were excellent and really helpful but the accommodation and facilities are poor. We stayed two nights. The room wasn't cleaned on the second day, no bed made, no new coffee sachets and we wouldn't have had clean towels unless we had asked for them. The Campanile hotel across the road provide a good meal at a reasonable cost but otherwise there was very little open in the area.

Stayed here on way back from holiday in the South on Industrial area but quiet and has a nice outdoor pool with loungers and seating area . Inside the hotel is spotlessly
Clean the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast great value the manager on reception was efficient and friendly great value for money ideal stopover.
Taxi to town only 20 euro which makes sense as parking in Avignon can be expensive and tricky to find.

I recently stayed at the Brit Hotel for two nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful (it was quiet when I arrived and the gentleman at the desk helped me with my bag up the stairs to my room - very nice!) The room was clean and tidy with a decent sized bathroom. I would have preferred to stay in the centre of Avignon but everything was so expensive being peak season and the last weekend of the theatre festival. It was a 15min bus bus ride (1.50Euro each way) from town but the buses only departed every 45 minutes so you had to really time your getting there and departure. When you arrive into town I would recommend going quickly over the road to the return bus stop and taking a photo of the timetable so you have the exact details. So the only negative would be that I just wish it could have been closer into town - but that being said, the bus driver one night was such a lovely and pleasant man who added to my experience so I guess if I hadn't stayed at that hotel I wouldn't have such nice things to report about the friendly people of Avignon (the waiter at dinner was lovely too - the people definitely added to my experience there!)

Nice little place , rooms clean and fresh ,wifi not good at all !!!!!!
Breakfast was good ,close to the centre which is beautiful lots of lovely restaurants and plenty of sight seeing to do pleasant friendly staff
