The Hotel is comfortable and rooms fairly sizable by European standards.
Beds are comfy.
Staff is helpful and they try very hard to accomodate.
The breakfast (8 Euro) is not very appetizing even by European standards. Where other hotels also serve hot eggs, bacon or sausage, the Brit does not accommodate here and if you are looking for a hearty breakfast, eat elsewhere.
The WIFI will not allow texting. Weird!

We booked a room with a kitchen and it was spotless.
the decoration is old fashioned and could do with updating.
In the very small kitchen area we had a microwave, a brand new coffee machine and kettle as well as a decent fridge but the cooker didn't work and was very old.
the staff were very friendly and helpful but they speak mainly french so it is worth making an effort to learn the basic words.
the areas is very peaceful and there is a good Lidl supermarket nearby as well as lovely restaurants by the river.
It's a 30 minute walk to the centre of Vichy which is very beautiful

Place was clean and in a safe area. If you are looking for a cheap place and have a car worthwhile to take. Place is a normal apartment building with this hotel renting some for long and short term hotels.
Limited hours of service. If you arrive when the staff is not around they have a list of room and name. Go up and the room is open and you can get your key. There is a number to contact the staff if you need it.
Did not take breakfast there are some bakeries a few min drive away.

very nice, clean studio. nice view on the 7th floor facing park. friendly staff. breakfast costly for what they have to offer. no other meals provided as it is expected that you will use the kitchenette equipment in your unit. bed not that comfortable
